Stayed here this past weekend with my husband and my biggest regret is not booking an extra day. The location is beautiful, the animals are adorable, and the place is surrounded by mountains and small local shops. The food is amazing - the first morning we had french toast with yogurt parfaits, and the second day we had quiche, hash browns, and homemade turnovers. All vegan and so good! We're already planning our next trip and can't wait to come back!

My husband and I stayed here in November 2024 for a weekend getaway from DC. The property is gorgeous and secluded and the pink house was so cozy. We stayed in the Jacob room and loved the claw foot tub. Breakfast each day was fantastic and the takeaway lunches were also great and very filling. 5/5 stay and we have already recommended it to several friends. What a treat to find a vegan bed and breakfast not too from from the DMV area! We will be back!

This is such a beautiful, magical place! The White Pig Bed and Breakfast is located in a gorgeous spot. I was in the area for a yoga retreat and was so happy to find this. My room was great - very clean and had everything I needed. I loved being able to walk around the beautiful property and say hi to the animals. The vegan breakfast was delicious. Overall, such a wonderful stay, and I'm looking forward to coming back. It's clear that so much love goes into making this all work - what a very special place.

One of the best experiences Iโ€™ve had with a B&B!||The property is massive and beautiful, surrounded by woods and a creek. The house is extremely clean and comfortable. Dina is an amazing cook and the food, from breakfast to snacks, is so delicious. The best part is spending as much time as you want with the animals and watching them roam around in the woods or on the grounds. We stayed at the Pink House and could see the horses wandering around all day from our windows. We are already planning our second trip to White Pig!

My husband, one year old daughter, pup and I had an amazing weekend at the White Pig! We stayed in the Cloud Cottage and loved hiking on the grounds, meeting the animals, and enjoying the yummy vegan breakfasts. This was a perfect weekend getaway from Richmond and we cannot recommend it highly enough. (Parent tip: the pac n play will fit in the bathroom of the cloud cottage so you can put your kiddo to bed and still enjoy the evening!) We highly recommend watching the fireflies underneath the backyard tree canopy while enjoying a beer from the nearby brewery! So grateful we found this place!

WOW this was one of the most special stays ever. Everything is so beautiful and peaceful. The pink house is gorgeous and each room has a theme. Our room was so clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The breakfasts are AMAZING and so filling. Itโ€™s all so homey, all vegan, so special. The sanctuary tour is one of my top ten favorite activities ever. This sanctuary cares for 70 animalsโ€”the pigs love belly rubs, Clyde the sheep is so friendly and loving, and the horses are beautiful and love treats. I canโ€™t wait to return!!

My girlfriend and I loved The White Pig! We stayed in the cabin and it was cozy, especially when a storm ran through. Dina, the person who does pretty much everything including the B&B business / cooking / cleaning as well as all the sanctuary work, is a powerhouse of the non-stop work. The sanctuary is peaceful in the woods so you'll want to have transportation to any events you're planning on going to while there! The hot tub on the side of the hill had a nice view during sunset.

The White Pig was our final stop on a multi-state pig sanctuary tour. From the moment you enter the property you can see that it is a labor of love. The amount of work that Dina has put in to The White Pig is amazing. The Pink House (we stayed in the Jacob Room) is over 100 years old and is as cozy as a mug of hot cider. ||The grounds are beautiful and a scene from the beginning of last century. Dina is an amazing chef / cook and if you aren't a vegan (just be open-minded), it won't matter because breakfast will still be delicious. The welcome cupcakes may change your mind about what is possible with plant-based ingredients. ||For us, the best part was the sanctuary tour. Dina and Caleb give you a show of the property, it's history, and the 70 or so four legged residents they've saved from abuse and neglect. These animals have a haven because of the work being done at The White Pig. Their stories are written on their bodies and in their eyes and seeing them given this second chance can be life changing. And if you've never had the opportunity to see how intelligent, friendly and outgoing a pig can be, you are doing yourself a disservice. ||We would and will recommend the White Pig to anyone. Thanks to Dina and Caleb for a great final stop.
