WOW the location of this lodge was outstanding. We stayed in the Gooseberry room which was clean, nicely decorated, had a really cool design of logs with vaulted ceilings, a jacuzzi, and an excellent view! We watched the sun set behind the mountains. The engineering that went into the construction of this lodge including the room was beyond unique, with a vintage feel including beautifully stained logs, a giant stone fireplace in the main area and cozy décor. The staff were extremely friendly, heartwarming, and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious with well thought out with treats and homey touches. Really had a beautiful time. Thank you

Spent this past weekend there and we have no complaints other than we did not stay long enough. The house is beautiful, the views are great, the service was better than we could have hoped for. Thank you Glenda, Gia and Alexis. The food was amazing. The whole experience was better than I could describe. You are living our dream life.

My husband and visited the Wildberry Lodge for our anniversary in July 2023 (sorry, could only select August 2023 on the review) - we are STILL thinking about our stay! We absolutely loved the lodge. Very easy and scenic drive to Asheville, so the perfect balance between the quiet of the country and the bustle of the city. Another great part - we got to pet the highland cows! Glenda and Ken were very welcoming, and the three-course breakfast made by Glenda was unmatched. Best decision to stay here.

This bed and breakfast spot is stunning, quiet and beautiful. The owners are exceptionally kind and lovely. My fiancé proposed to me while we were staying here. His plans were to propose on the blue ridge parkway but due to the hurricane, he could not do that. Instead, the proposal was magical and unforgettable. We watched the sunset from the balcony. The food prepared here is fabulous as well. The room and bathroom were clean and overall, our experience was 10/10.

The lodge was beautiful. Truly scenic. The hiking trails were a nice touch and the animals were friendly. Super friendly owners. Unfortunately we booked the honeymoon sweet specifically for the awesome bathroom amenities. Unfortunately, the shower was clogged and within minutes we were standing in 4 inches of water. The hot tub jetted out mildew chunks. It kind of ruined the experience. Nothing was offered to make it right. No new room or compensation which was a little disappointing. Streaming capability on the TV would have been a nice touch. Cable was limited so we rented from Redbox. If I had experienced the room at a more clean time I would absolutely visit again for the beauty surrounding it but probably will search elsewhere in the future.

Glenda and her husband are amazing hosts. The lodge has a very natural wood feel to it and is very clean. My wife and I went for our anniversary and we loved our stay here. The view is absolutely stunning (especially with the perfect weather we experienced). We love the goats and varied other farm animals on the property as well. My wife and I are big foodies so we were a bit skeptical about the breakfast initially. Our skepticism was alleviated at first bite of the first breakfast that came with our stay. The breakfast foods were fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the lemon blueberry French toast. I suppose there is good reason for the recipe being on the lodge’s website. Of note, the lodge is a beautiful 25-30 minute drive through the country side to Asheville. My wife and I strongly encourage people to experience Biltmore estate of you can afford an $80+ per person ticket depending on what you’d like to do there. In my opinion it is worth it. Be prepared to spend a little extra money in the estate for food and potentially wine. Thank you so much Glenda and Ken. We will be back with friends!
