What an absolute thrill! We rafted class four and five today on the Chattooga and had such a blast. Our guide Justin was friendly, easy to talk to, and got us through some wild lines. We rafted at the highest the river has been since May (and the highest they will let them commercially raft). I’ve rafted class four throughout the years (mostly in CO) and was really impressed with how organized this outfit is. They had safely ropes available at all the big rapids and we never felt ‘scared’ about a situation. Everyone was able bodied - you need to be able to paddle, and in one spot climb over some rocks to get past a narrow part of the river. The waterfall was the best we’ve seen on our hikes and we loved the spots to jump off the rocks into the river. Lunch was simple sandwiches (they take your personalized order when you arrive) and they had snacks, veggies, cookies, etc. Vick took our photos and they were so fun to look through we purchased all of them ($100). Perfect day … would do it over again in a heartbeat (and hope to be back soon). Other notes: water temp was chilly but felt refreshing around 80 degrees air temp. The river dumps you out at the lake which of course is still. It was a fun little reprieve to hook up to a motor boat that towed us the rest of the way. Finally, photos shown are most extreme but there are plenty of resting and chill spots too.

Our recent white water rafting experience exceeded all expectations, delivering an exhilarating adventure paired with top-notch service. Staying in one of their pristine cabins, our stay was marked by comfort and modern amenities that left nothing to be desired. The cleanliness and freshness of the accommodations were awesome.

From the moment we arrived, the customer service stood out as exemplary. Every staff member we encountered was not only professional but genuinely kind, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay.

The rafting itself was a highlight for our family, especially our teenage kids who were thrilled by the rush of the rapids. The provided lunch was a delightful surprise, offering a tasty and satisfying break during our adventure-filled day.

A special mention goes to our guide, Aaron, whose expertise and enthusiasm elevated our rafting experience! His knowledge of the river and infectious energy made us feel safe yet exhilarated throughout the journey. Aaron's personalized attention and friendly demeanor truly made a difference.

Overall, our white water rafting trip was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of adrenaline-pumping rapids, impeccable accommodation and exceptional customer service, made this experience unforgettable. We can't wait to return for another adventure on the river with this outstanding team.

This place is great! We did a yurt/rafting/zipline package over two days and had an incredible experience. Quick breakdown:

1. The yurts were clean and spacious, although there was no ac and only one fan. Not terrible, but recommend you bring your own fan any time in the summer (we came in mid-July so of course it was hot! ). The bunk beds aren't bad and the mattresses were waterproof and clean. There was power and lights in the yurt. The common area has very clean bathrooms, showers, and ac! Not a bad place to rest and relax.

2. Rafting was incredible. Our guide, Kat, was super friendly and knowledgeable. The gear was in good condition and kept us safe when we decided to go over the rapids. We had lunch mid day on a sand bar (custom homemade sandwiches and some snacks) and overall had a blast with our kids. Kudos to Kat and Nathaniel (the main guide) for making the experience extra fun.

3. The zipline tour was also unforgettable and fun! Sophia and Brandi were awesome and made sure we were getting the most out of the experience. My 9-year old son had an absolute blast flying through the trees and his safety was never in doubt. The setup and equipment are very well maintained and you can tell that our guides were attentive to making sure the rules were being followed to keep us safe.

Overall a highly recommended experience for all ages and experience!

Huge thanks go to our amazing guides...Angela, Thames, Brendan, and Mary Nell! Our river trip leaders Alex and Brandon were top notch, too! Brandon, we hope those bites were okay. 😉 Isabel the river manager was wonderful! This place was awesome! Everyone was soooo friendly, and knowledgeable. We had so much fun we extended our stay another day! This was the first time for 2 in our party, and we felt completely safe. There were so many safety measures in place. They thought of everything! Even the snacks on the rafting trips were perfect. Oh, and the cabins are really nice with free wifi great showers, and new appliances, too! Thanks also to Whetstone Photography for the beautiful pictures...and the kayak acrobatics show entertaining us during the quiet stretches of Section 4! 😄

Stayed in the cabins for 4 nights with a big group of people. We went white water rafting and did the high ropes course on site. First off, the bus driver is incredible, very impressive. The staff were all extremely hospitable and friendly and tended to everything needed. The white water rafting guide Tony was fantastic. We had an amazing time on ropes course. Very informative and safe the entire time. I will definitely bring my family back here!

We did zip lining with Brandy and Michelle Friday who both were excellent guides. Saturday we did the 8am class 4-5 white water rafting half-day (section 4). We’ve done a lot of rafting throughout the year’s in different states east to west coast and Tony our guide was top notch! We were very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. Highly recommend asking for him. The entire guide crew were amazing! Safety is their top priority and they all work well together as a team. Lots of laughs especially from Scooter the photographer. Bryan our bus driver was great too!! We are already planning next year’s trip back.

If you're gonna float the Chattooga, this is the company to do it with! From the start, they were nothing but wonderful. The Tree House cabin was beautiful and affordable. They helped shuttle our kayaks on the first day and actually suggested a section of the river more fun than the one we had planned. Our day 2 rafting trip with Tony was awesome! I'll say the same thing about this location as I have in my other reviews; stay away from the NOC & ride with Wildwater!!!
