My family and I stayed at the Fire Fly Inn and decided to have breakfast here. The food was pretty good and the service was excellent.

I had an egg and sausage sandwich. My son loved the prime rib sandwich.

The lemon tart was delicious. We also had coffee (cappuccinos)

We arrived a little after 10am on a Sunday morning and were able to secure the large couch area near the fireplace for a large group of 9 people. It’s a cafe style place so there aren’t many tables for seating. Many people come in to buy coffee, pastries and sandwiches to go. The service was great, and the food and coffee were delicious. We ordered the grilled cheese sandwich, BLT, and a bagel for 2 adults and 2 kids to share and it was enough for us. We would definitely come again.

It goes without saying that Wilson's by high watch in Kent is a home run. On one level this restaurant and Cafe offers delicious foods. Amazing service. All in a cute quaint setting. For lunch today we opted for the BLT with a side of fried brussel sprouts and they had a special chicken sandwich that they gladly made for me as a plate as I don't eat the bread. However, the flavors and tastes were absolutely delicious. We couldn't rave anymore about our food. Secondly, Wilson's by high watch serves an important mission in the community, helping those recover, get on their feet and build lives without relying on substances. High watch has been an important part of so many people's lives and touches on a personal level to me as well. I highly suggest you check this place out. You will not be disappointed

Wilson's Cafe is a true treasure tucked away in the heart of Kent. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by a fantastic team whose warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home. ( even though I am thousands of miles away from home!) The service was nothing short of efficient, ensuring that my experience was seamless from start to finish.

The atmosphere at Wilson's is simply lovely, with cozy decor and a welcoming ambiance that invites you to linger and savor every moment. It's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a break.

Speaking of delicious, the menu at Wilson's Cafe is a delight. I indulged in an ice chai latte that was perfectly spiced and wonderfully refreshing. The avocado on toast was fresh and tasty. And let's not forget about the green healthy smoothies – a refreshing and nutritious treat that left me feeling energized and ready to take on the day.

Overall, my experience at Wilson's Cafe was nothing short of exceptional. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or lingering over a leisurely meal, Wilson's is sure to delight your senses and leave you eager to return for more. Highly recommended!

I order from this place a lot and I really enjoy the food (especially the homemade bagels). I ordered the avocado toast and paid extra for an egg, which they forgot. There was also hot maple on the toast which is not advertised on their online menu. I called to ask for a refund and the lady I spoke to didn’t even apologize and said she would refund just the egg rather than the entire item. Not impressed with that kind of service and the attitude I received, especially when the staff there is normally very sweet.

August 2024 - Love Kent, it's just not a place I get to much, but many people do, mostly out of staters primarily from New York.
If you're in town, definitely stop by Wilson's for a sandwich. They're big and bold. The place was packed which gave a wait time of ten minutes for a BLT with tomato (see original review below). Serious bread. Kind of like "Dave's Killer Bread" if familiar with that brand. Heavy on seeds, though, if you are someone who can't eat them. Packed with bacon, crisp lettuce and in season fresh tomatoes. Comes with a North Fork Long Island bag of potato chips, which was great to learn there are still potato farms there, plus a dill pickle.

Visiting Kent's sidewalk sale event in August 2022, I was advised by a local to go to Wilson's for lunch. Seeing a colleague enjoying her BLT without the tomato, I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, upon arrival incoming customers were told that the chef had closed the kitchen due to staff shortage so only what was still in the pastry cases was available. This turned people away who were coming in for a meal like myself, but I did grab a cheese danish to bring home. It had a light flakey dough. Wilson's serves breakfast all day, fresh juices, sandwiches and salads. (See menu in my photos) Also for sale are fresh flowers and merchandise. Nice ambiance. There is an indoor fireplace, outdoor seasonal seating and a variety of seating.

I've eaten here a few times. Every time, my dish was delicious. The staff are friendly, helpful, and diligent. It is an extremely busy place. We order our food and sometimes find a table right away or just before our food arrives. Thank goodness we've lucked out with getting a table.

Wilson's offers excellent food that, while a bit pricey, is worth it for the quality. The location is beautiful, making it a great spot to meet friends for coffee. However, I have to mention that the service could use some improvement. It's rare to see a smile from the staff, and they often seem reluctant to help. This lack of friendliness is a major downside for an otherwise lovely place. Despite being a regular visitor, I sometimes feel like I'm intruding. A simple smile could make a big difference in creating a more welcoming atmosphere.
