A must stop if you are visiting Stand’g at the corner of Winslow AZ. Just few blocks away by the train station. The woodcarving of the Indian Statue is astonishing!

We went to the Winslow Chamber of Commerce (CC)to get directions to the Eagles statues commerating the song. "Take it easy." We were given directions and a sticker of our visit to the Eagles statuary. The cc lady was very interesting and knowledge of Winslow history.

Winslow visitors center, chamber of commerce, and the hubble trading post are all the same place. There is information of the area for side trips, a small gift selection, and a mini museum of the town history. Check hours before you go.

Angela is fantastic! She took her time chatting with us about the area and some background history.

The visitor center is the old depot and maintains its original integrity. Really nice! Kid friendly, clean bathrooms and lots of free tourist maps. Don’t forget to get your Route 66 stamp on your passport!

Free parking on a gravel lot next to the center. RV FRIENDLY - all sizes will easily fit!

This is a must stop! When leaving the visitor center be sure get a city map and take the well maintained walking path to the downtown area.

I love this Chamber of Commerce. It has a restroom and it's air conditioned. Lots of free literature to choose from. Next door they sometimes have a arts and crafts and food fair.
