Remarkable example of a rare commodity, your local radio station! Gary O, the owner handles the morning drive time show and it is very popular. Putnam is an old mill town but unlike so many, it is thriving and I believe that WINY has had a huge role in making that happen. Listen on line in the morning and here what so many towns used to have. . .a local radio station with a staff that cares about their town. Big thumbs up!
