My fiancé and I are eloping in the Redwoods and were so excited to book this property on Vrbo to spend the week in California. We thought this would be a beautiful place to have a small group of family and friends for a reception.

Unfortunately, the booking has been a terrible experience and we would not recommend this to anyone. The hosts would often take weeks to months to respond to emails. Our questions would go unanswered. When trying to reach out by phone to their direct number to discuss more thoroughly, no one would answer and the voicemail box would be full. As you can imagine, trying to plan a wedding reception for friends and family thousands of miles away and getting little to no response made the experience very stressful.

Due to this, we decided to book elsewhere, forfeiting the $600+ non-refundable deposit. It just wasn’t worth the hassle or risk, especially for our wedding vacation.
