Hidden gem in an otherwise lost little town. This isn't the best used bookstore on the planet, but for an place like T&C it's definitely worth a visit as you may just find something unusual and unique.
If you're used to old school booksellers full of clutter and piles of books in random spots - this is your place. If you're favorite bookstore is a clean and sterile B&N full of new releases then you'll probably hate it. I could have walked out with an armful of rare and out of print books but was able to control myself and narrowed it down.

I'm not claustrophobic, however in some of these rooms, I understand how some people are, the shelves seem to be leaning towards you; there is so much weight on them- they seem like they will fall off at any time. A lot of the books are locked up behind doors or in beautiful glass cages- I haven't purchased anything because of the prices being so high.

I highly recommend this bookstore! Great selection and fair prices. I was very satisfied with my purchase, and know that my Father's Day gift will be enjoyed by my dad for years to come . Xochi's is easily one of the best booksellers in New Mexico!

Great little bookshop. Spent a good hour browsing the unusual volumes available.
Anything from a 1956 Cruise Book for the USS Wasp to German & Hungarian cook books.
Always a fun stop for me.

Great used book store that is sadly up for sale. They have category based rooms with rare books, books from all over the world and some in different languages about art, textiles baskets, pottery, paintings, science, New Age, geology, military history, religion, Southwestern Americana, Native American history, Western-heritage, and books about religion. We stopped by and got two beautiful books on New Mexico and Colorado for $15 and $24. The store is definitely filled to the brim, however we learned that the owner, Stan, has sadly passed away. Definitely worth the stop for those who love a treasure hunt! 📚
