We arrived via cruise ship to Ward Cove. The excursion staff directed us to van 12 after the busses. Turns out this is also were taxis park, and by coincidence it was a van numbered 12. We figured the cruiseline must contract local taxi to shuttle people into town. Several times throughout the ride we gave indication we though we were on the shuttle, including one in the group saying "I have a different excursion than the rest, am I on the right shuttle" the cab driver, I belive Rick, Richard, Ricky something said "I'll get you there" he 100% new were not on the shuttle and never corrected us. Got us into town and we had to fork over $45. Luckily we had enough cash on hand.
Although we take some credit for getting in a taxi, it was very clear we thought we were on a shuttle and he chose not to correct us. His smirk at the end was infuriating.

We called for a ride to go to the Rainbird trail from down town, they picked us up within 5min! we got a ride from Michelle, she is so nice and made us feel really welcome, she told us about another trail that we decided hike instead and it was amazing, schedule to have her come pick us up an hour and a half later and she was there on the dot. We asked here where to eat and she took us to the cape fox lodge, food was awesome! She made our short time here very special and got us around town very quickly. Thank you Michelle!

Yellow Taxi was the best for these cruisers looking for hikes. They were fast at answering our call and picking us up! Heads up as they’re cash only! Special thanks to Sonja who gave us tips about our hike!

Paul was a great driver. He got me safely to the hiking trailhead. Driver was very nice, friendly, and had great customer service skills. Taxi arrived within two minutes of a call to Yellow Taxi. I was impressed by this taxi service!

We had an amazing experience with Jason! Right from the start he took good care of us. We were on the busy main street trying to figure out how to find a cab and Jason waved and said he'd come right over and get us. We didn't really know what we were doing but he took us to the park we asked about and even showed us a few other spots to see along the way if we had time. What a great experience!

Received a voucher from AK Air for a free taxi ride with Yellow Taxi (would’ve been $22 from The Landing to Cape Fox Lodge). Thankfully, I called up the cab at 0215 and Lisa was pleasant, friendly, and we had a good conversation about just being kind to others. Thanks for the ride!

We waited over an hour at the ferry terminal because they only picked up groups of tourists. Called again, no luck getting picked up. We watched so many taxis drive by, too. We ended up walking half a mile to the airport with our heavy luggage. This service is a joke.
