Erin and her team absolutely rocked our event at the Westmark! Her communication is 5 stars alone! Her professionalism and timing are another 5 stars! We needed a last minute pivot for table set ups with a specific budget and half a vision. We left the rest to her. Not only didn’t she so eloquently pull this room together, she filled in the creative blanks we were missing to stage this room in a professional, yet colorful manor! We will use her the next time we are in Fairbanks and recommend her to anyone there.

I do not even know where to begin when it comes to Your Story Event Planning, so I’ll start from the beginning. Dylan and I decided to use Your Story for our wedding in May 2024. With both of us working full time and the general chaos of life, we felt having a wedding planner was a good idea. This ended up being the single best wedding decision we made. Erin and her team did absolutely EVERYTHING from taking our crazy ideas and making it into a reality, to handling all the “not so fun” wedding things like contracts. The week before your wedding is notoriously considered the most stressful and terrible. During our “wedding week” we got to spend quality time with our families, relax, and enjoy the festivities. On the big day, we woke up, enjoyed getting ready and the boys even played in a hockey game! My family was fully present for every important moment of our wedding and never had to worry about a thing. All of this was made possible by the Your Story Event Planning team. Dylan and I could not be more grateful to this amazing group of individuals. They provide so much more than wedding planning; they give you the ability to immerse yourself in all the small moments and completely enjoy this important life milestone. If I could give ten stars I would because Your Story truly deserves it!!

The first thing you get from Erin is love and energy she has the best personality and makes you feel like you’ve known each other for years. She takes your ideas and brings it to life. In November of 2019, My mom gifted Erin and her team: Your Story Wedding & Events, to myself and my husband as an engagement gift. Little did I know how much Erin would bless us. From the moment she asked me what my theme and style goals were, to lavish decor and flown in linens, lush floral, exclusive photographers, amazing entertainment, venues, invoicing and communicating with ever single vendor, obtaining contracts, to fine tuning every single tiny last detail the day before, the day of and the day after our wedding, IT WAS TAKEN CARE OF WITH EXCELLENCE.

Not to mention… This was all planned in the midst of COVID-19. When so many businesses and vendors were coming from a place of “no” and “restrictions”… ERIN KEPT HER BRIDES PEACE, HER PRIORITY. There wasn’t a single time I doubted any of Erin’s decision making and TRUSTED she had my upmost best interest.

Erin respected and truly worked with my budget and provided my husband and I, the best of the best. She went above and beyond to make it *all* happen for us beautifully and bring my vision to life.

I had the most peaceful wedding day full of love, glam, dancing and champagne. I will forever be grateful for the joy and peace I experienced July 2, 2021. Erin and Your Story’s organization and professionalism was superb.
