I was pleasantly impressed by my entire evening at Zabava. The food was well prepared, quickly served and quite delicious. I was attending a catered event, and the menu included a large variety of salads, appetizers, entrées and desserts. Something for everyone’s taste. I especially like the mushroom soup.
I noted that the facility had a high standard of cleanliness. A two person musical group provided sufficient entertainment for the evening. The owner was pleasant and very accommodating.
Overall, the facility had a welcoming Ukrainian atmosphere. I thank Zabava for providing an extraordinary holiday for myself and our children. It was a memorable evening and we will be back again. They were very accommodating by letting me bring my own handcrafted arch and sign.

We recently had a family-style dinner catered by Zabava at an Airbnb and we were blown away by how amazing it was! The team at Zabava helped me put together the perfect menu for my event. They were always available to answer any questions we had and even set up a call to ensure that everything was aligned. The food was delivered on time and the table was beautifully set up. The team helped us with table setting and their attention to detail was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the cossack table along with a few other main dishes. My family and I were impressed by the generous portions, and even though we thought we tried everything, we kept discovering new dishes on the table. The food was presented on beautiful Ukrainian ceramic dishes, making it a feast for both the stomach and the eyes. We highly recommend Zabava’s catering services! They truly made our event unforgettable.

Our wedding reception was here on 06/17. Wow, where do I even begin!

Atmosphere: Starting from the outside, the clay pots on a wicker fence create a traditional and rural look. There is a comfy amount of parking. Other Ukrainian venues being in Brooklyn and Manhattan, this is coveted. Behind the establishment are all lush trees and mountains. Outdoor seating is there to enjoy. There is a room for cocktail hour that feels like you are in an authentic Ukrainian home in the countryside. The banquet hall is elegant with chandeliers. French double doors let the sunlight stream in with the greenery vibrant in the background. The bar is spacious with bar stools where guests can choose to lounge.

Service: Anya was always prompt to respond to emails. She never left questions unanswered. She guided me through the kitchen timeline, and at the same time, she listened to how I wanted my timeline. Svetlana also really listens while giving her expertise. She gives you the sense that she truly cares about your day. Both are patient and an absolute pleasure to work with. The servers are genuinely inviting and warm. They are also attentive and timely. DJ Teren is just super.

Food: The food is served family style, which helps people bond. Photos are from cocktail hour and cold appetizers alone. The food is incredible. When people say the food is fresh… the first thing that hits you is the steamy aroma of the hot dish. The presentation of every dish is pleasing to the eye. The borscht was vegetarian and so flavorful. People love pierogies. The potatoes were playfully mushroom shaped and tasty. The roast pork was succulent and the lamb kabobs were juicy. I only wish I was able to eat more that day. Hee hee.

The food was absolutely amazing. I would expect Guy Fieri and the Food Network to show up any day. The salads were garden fresh, the soup & entrees perfect. If this was a restaurant and not just a banquet hall, it would be my favorite!

We had my son's baptism at Zabava and it was fantastic. The place had a cozy, Ukrainian feel with nice decor and good music. The food was delicious, especially the kapusta and varenyky.
