So this was our first visit and it was awesome. We own a timeshare with another company but were able to use this one for a vacation get away. First off staff is super nice and really friendly. Shout out to Alicia, Martha, and I believe it’s Carissa.
These are like little cabins in the mountains. Once you drive through the covered bridge you can see the property. From our room we had a great view of the little lake as well as the mountains which got snow before we checked out.
Decore reminded me and the hubby of the 90’s but we didn’t mind, it was a cozy one bedroom with a fireplace in the living room and a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. It also comes with a fully equipped kitchen. If you’re looking for a whole lot to do this is not for you, but if you want to relax, unwind and enjoy nature definitely come here. Small town charm with access back to city life in about 2 1/2 hours.

We got this stay as a gift and honestly did not have high expectations for the resort or California in general. Upon arrival into Tehachapi (flew into Vegas and drove from there rather than LAX), we visited a few establishments in town and felt very "at home" with the people as well as the businesses. A 20 minute drive from town brought us to the resort, but the route the GPS took us on was VERY curvy and made my fiance nauseous more than once. Local traffic was obviously more comfortable with the road and was driving double the speed limit, which can be a bit nerve-racking being the butthead driving too slow but we found a different route after a couple days. The condo was dated, but nice and clean and had all the amenities we wanted and the staff was incredibly friendly. The hot tub was perfect and clean, we got to enjoy it by ourselves as we visited in May when it wasn't very busy. We had dinner at Jake's Steakhouse in town our first night, which was excellent and the price was more than fair. Had some drinks and food at P-Dub's right near the resort one night as well and everything was amazing, including the staff. There are several wineries right near the resort which was a great way to spend an afternoon. Triassic, Dorner, and Tehachapi Wine & Cattle all had great selections of wine with very friendly staff and nice/clean grounds. Wine and Cattle had fantastic live entertainment and great food as well. Tehachapi Winery was a nice place, but the wine and entertainment were both awful. We took a day trip to Sequoia National Park one day which was very entertaining (though a considerable amount of hiking), and stopped at the Tehachapi Loop on the way back which was awesome to see, despite neither of us being into trains. We stopped at Kohnen's Bakery in Tehachapi one day as well and picked up some raspberry cheesecake. I'm a cheesecake connoisseur of sorts, and this stuff is the real deal. It weighed 4x that of a regular cheesecake so the density was out of this world, but it was easily the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life.

We came here for the first time as owners. It was so beautiful. I really enjoyed the hike I took. There were so many beautiful sights to see. It felt as though I was in a whole new world. The Squirls, and Rabbits were a sight to see.The condo was perfect. It was real peaceful and quiet.

Great place for a getaway and friendly staff. They have plenty of nice places to see nearby: Cesar Chavez Monument, Buddhist Temple (Spirit Center), Apple Orchards, Alpaca & Ostrich farms with shopping and restaurants nearby.

I can't say enough good things about the Stallion Springs Resort, but I'll try. We've been coming here for years and we finally became an owner about five years ago. It's one of the best purchases we've ever made. We love coming here and a week is just not enough. It's so pretty and peaceful. Often, the only noise you'll hear is all the wildlife that is abundant in the area. (We're talking deer, elk, bob cats, hawks and more). The scenery is just breathtaking and beautiful and we love sitting on the patio and taking it all in, especially those views of the mountains, pond, fields and flowers in the spring. We love coming here at all times of the year because you can actually experience the four seasons. The units themselves are open, spacious and well-equipped. There are high ceilings, lots of windows and open floorplans. The two-bedroom units even have two bathrooms. The kitchens are small, but large enough and well-equipped. I've cooked full-course meals here with no problems. There are also BBQs in the common areas, which are also very pretty. The beds are extra comfortable and extra large. We also love the fact that there are washers and dryers in every unit. The resort also has volleyball courts, horseshoes and a Jacuzzi. There is nothing greater than sitting in that Jacuzzi at night time gazing at all the stars. I see where people complain that there is nothing to do here, but that's not why you come to Stallion Springs. Plus, there is lots to do as long as you like hiking, biking, fishing and relaxing. There are lots of wineries nearby and the historic town of Tehachapi is just 15 miles away. There are also places to eat and shop in the little town of Stallion Springs. We also can't say enough good things about the staff. Alicia and her team are so warm and welcoming. They will try and accommodate early check-ins and answer all your questions. They even sent the handyman right over when were having trouble with the lamps and TV. We just love this place and highly recommend it, especially for people in LA and OC Counties that want to get away from the noise, crowds and congestion. I see where some people were complaining that the resort is shabby and so forth, but we think it's well maintained and people like that are probably better off staying at the Four Seasons for triple the price.

Stayed at this resort last week. Ran into a herd of Elk one morning right in front of the resort. It's 30 to 40 of them led by an big buck. Really nice experience.

This place is well furnished and supplied with quality items. Large rooms except for kitchen, but it is a full kitchen. Management and staff are helpful and accommodating and the welcome party is tremendously informative.

Set in a high mountain valley, terrain is dominated by granite boulder outcroppings and oak trees. The resort is graced by deer, bunnies, and lizards. It has spacious cabins.
Souza winery nearby is excellent. Local farms offer top quality berries, fruit, oranges, apples.
