Leslie arranged and guided us on an African safari in Kenya, a trip of a life time. It was more than just the Masa Mara it included several smaller game reserves. The accommodations were more than i expected and we felt safe. Our local tour guide knew the best locations to see the animals up close. A highlight was watching from 15 feet, a Zebra about an hour old, learn to walk as its impatient mom was watching an hyena 50 feet away just waiting

Traveled to Morocco with them last fall and it was amazing. We stayed in guest houses (riads) and small hotels in the old cities (medinas) that were locally run. Our guides were knowledgeable and charming and we had daily opportunities to interact with Moroccans, who are the kindest and most hospitable people I've encountered in my travels.

The itinerary was thoughtful, so while we saw the highlights in Fes, Chefchaouen, Marrakech, Essouaira, went desert glamping in the Sahara and toured the Hasan II mosque in Casablanca, we also saw a sunset over the sand dunes in Merzouga, watched rugs being woven by women in a local cooperative and had mint tea with an elderly man living a traditional nomadic life, and stopped for lunch one day at an actual oasis.

The itinerary was chosen with genuine love for the country and the people, because Leslie and Abdo want people to experience Morocco as visitors and guests, not as "tourists". We had to walk a bit sometimes to get to our accommodation, because that is the trade-off of staying in the midst of the old walled cities. So if you want to stay in a holiday Inn where your taxi drives right up to the door, this isn't the tour for you. But if you enjoy staying in places that have history, were designed and restored with love, yet still manage to have en-suite bathrooms, this is it!

From the endless, subtle beauty of the desert, to the exotic reds and greens of the Atlas Mountains, to tiny traditional potteries with artisans working as they have for centuries, Leslie's heart gives you the chance to experience Morocco with those who live there. And if you're that kind of traveler, I highly recommend booking with them.

This was my first experience with a tour and I loved it. It was nice that all planning was done by someone who has been there multiple times, and with the connections she's made, it felt like you were being shown Morocco by a local.
