Our family, six adults, four small children and one black lab spent twelve glorious days at this beautiful property. Everything about the Ranch is conducive to having a relaxing, fun getaway.
The house is well appointed, it has a wonderful kitchen and several common areas. The grounds are lovely, pool is great. The setting is lovely in a wide canyon with pretty vistas and occasional wildlife.
Arthur, the property manager, is attentive to any issues that may arise and is dedicated to making your stay flawless. This is the fifth house I’ve booked for family vacations and it is the best yet!

This is a 5 star property - one of the best we've experienced. From the very well appointed kitchen, to the comfortable bedding, to the well maintained grounds we can't find any fault with our stay. The home is perfect for entertaining a large group with plenty of open spaces for gathering and smaller nooks to get away from the group and relax. Arthur was a very responsive and accommodating host. We felt like honored guests. I highly recommend Heidi West catering for a delicious catered meal. Safeway delivered groceries upon our arrival - a great way to stock the home without having to shop.

Casual Wine Country Elegance. I had the opportunity to be a guest at this extraordinary residence for a week. The house offered private suites for us all with very comfortable bedding (and quite nice bath amenities)! Plenty of space for small groups of family and friends to gather in separate areas while the great room and dining area could handle 14! The exceptional grounds made for peaceful hikes while the pool and spa offered additional fun and relaxation . It was a great opportunity for our friends to all gather and cook in the immense (and well stocked) kitchen while we had our own private wine tasting (great Concierge services offered) . Overall a wonderful experience with access through Mayastoga's team of professionals. Our family and friends were able to have a stress-free vacation in a gorgeous home in a beautiful setting.

A group of 12 of us stayed for a three day weekend and loved the house. It was great that each couple had their own bathroom. Everything was top notch from the bedding to decor. We hired Chef Ania, on the recommendation of the concierge service, to cook dinner for our group one night and she was fantastic. The huge dining room table accommodated our large group and Ania utilized the plates and kitchen amenities to cook a delicious meal. We were there in February and asked for the pool to be heated which was definitely worth it as we all enjoyed warm evening swims and time in the hot tub after our days spent at wineries. One of our favorite wineries was just down the road--Theorem. We will definitely be back.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful, thoughtfully laid out home! The property was clean and comfortable and absolutely exceeded expectations. Both adults and kids had the space and comfort needed to relax and play between the pool, nearby hiking trails, outdoor fire pit, big yard, and more. The host was responsive and generous, and very flexible with our changing needs and questions. We felt very safe and informed about precautions taken re COVID-19 between guests. Every little detail was perfectly thought out - truly a wonderful stay and we hope to stay again!

This was a beautiful house for a large group to spread out and enjoy their mornings and evenings while visiting the Napa/Sonoma region. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and super helpful housekeepers that helped us with an emergency ride into town. The three reasons I did not give the property 5 stars - we were falsely accused of breaking a remote control and charged $700 (the remote worked when we were there, hot tub didn't but that wasn't taken into consideration), the location makes it difficult to get around without your own car as there are literally no Uber drivers, and finally, there was no cellular service.

We had such a wonderful weekend reuniting with old friends at the Mayastoga Ranch. The property is beautiful. The home is laid out thoughtfully. And the accommodations were beyond our expectations. Spotlessly clean, and well supplied, we were able to get comfortable immediately. The speaker system, pool, fireplaces, and kitchen appliances were all state of the art and easy to use. We couldn't have asked for more. And Arthur the owner was helpful from the time we booked until we left the house.

Maystoga Ranch is amazing! Beyond expectations. We rented the property to celebrate our anniversary with our 4 adult children ages 26-33, a partner, and our brother and his girlfriend. Every single family member expressed extreme impression with the property choice. What is amazing, is that the owner of this gorgeous ranch trusts outsiders to care for such an amazing home and setting. Each side of the property has unique offerings. We enjoyed morning coffee on one side, late afternoon cocktails by the pool, and watching deer graze the clover at dusk.

The location is perfect, nestled in the hills and very private. The city of Calistoga is a short scenic drive from the property. We had lunch and dinner at a few of the restaurants, all were good. The property was centrally located for the wine tours we scheduled.

Arthur, our host, was very responsive and concerned that his property met our expectations. As stated earlier, it exceeded all of our expectations.
We highly recommend this property and our host!
