I only stayed for one night for work but, I really enjoyed my room. It was quaint, enough room for two. (Although I was alone) it had its own little courtyard (parking) area. Which made me feel pretty safe. Not sure why there weren’t any toiletries like in other hotels but, I travel a lot so I have my own travel stuff. I couldn’t imagine the outcome if I didn’t. Especially since I got in late enough that the front desk was closed. Other than that my stay was pretty good. The location was pretty awesome too!

Visiting family in the area we decided to try Bella Capri as it was conveniently located in Old Town. We enjoyed walking the area and the Saturday morning Farmer's Market. This hotel is clean. However, it would not pass newer building codes. The treads on the staircase were very difficult to navigate. The room was very small and offered very few places to set your items. The water temperature approached scalding. Parking is challenging but we were able to park in the courtyard area each night. A limited breakfast is offered at the nearby cafe. It was a bit noisy on Saturday night as our room faced the main street. We found the staff to be friendly. They do adhere to a strict check-in time and didn't deviate when we arrive @ 15 minutes early.

The rooms are little on the small side. You can get a picture of the whole layout if you are standing in the right corner. They are clean, though, and include a refrigerator, coffee maker, ac, microwave, and plenty of towels. It's perfectly fine for a night or 2 if you're in town visiting family or going to a local event. Also, there's a limited amount of parking available. The Café attached to the building was very good and reasonably priced. It's located on a frontage road next to the highway but didn't notice any traffic noise. There are multiple restaurants and retail shopping centers nearby. Beach is about a 15 - or 20-minute drive, depending on the route taken. My only issue, which isn't major, is their check-in/out hours and not getting any kind of receipt when I checked out.

Lovely host, great walkable location proximal to a bunch of nice restaurants in a nice/calm area, and most importantly: very clean. Picked it at random for work and will likely return. Highly recommend for anyone passing through town.

Good value for money at the time we stayed. Only complaint I had was the size of the shower. Extremely small. I am not a big guy and it was tight for me. Otherwise clean and bed was firm. Checkin was quick. I was surprised they asked for ID’s for all guests. Limited amount of parking. They give you breakfast coupons at the cafe. Nice meal.

My partner and I needed a place to stay as we travelled back home to the Bay Area, and we are very happy to have stayed here! The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of outlets to charge our devices and hang up clothing!

There was a lightbulb out in the bathroom, so I let the front desk know before we left.

One thing we were not comfortable with was the fact that if you do a late check-in, they request you send front and back pictures of your credit card… to my partner and I, that was definitely a little sketchy and we arranged our plans to avoid doing so. We tried to give our card info over the phone but they insisted photo copies, so just something to keep in mind.

Overall, the service was wonderful, staff were friendly, and the stay was great! We look forward to visiting in the future!

Rocket Man

Great Location! You can walk literally to everything. Hotel service great thank you Lisa, super focused on clean, they even wash the bed spread after every guest. Very uncluttered rooms, lotsa light and window, and did I mention CLEAN! Eat, drink & be merry for you needn't drive!

Positive: The pain of the hotel is perfectly located, very central to the city, 10 minutes to anywhere in Camarillo. Also, very close to the freeway entrance/exit. Negative: I was in the first floor and could hear every step someone took in the room above me. The refrigerator had a loud hum, and it smelled a little musty.
