Our captain was the best ever! Relentlessly searched for whales until we ultimately sighted 5 Grey Whales! Then chased a pod of Common Dolphins until we were right beside several HUNDRED dolphins, swimming flat out and leaping from the water! Also got close enough to Channel Islands to take some great photos! Excellent trip!

Amazing experience! We were taken on the Ranger85 boat and spent 3 hours in the pacific. We saw like 7 California gray whales and 3000 common dolphins! There's food on the boat which you can buy and there were so many kids jumping up and down to spot the whales. Family friendly tour! All in all we had a wonderful time.

Great morning. Saw tons of dolphin from a view you were never get from land. Whales were a little scarce but were the later that day. Still great time with my adult son. Great Bloody Marys too!

Very exciting and thrilling trip. Kids more than 3 years will enjoy. Took about 2 hours to get into the pacific coast and located some amazing views of the blue whales and on the way back watched some dolphins, too. Can watch some huge cargo ships and also Queen Marry, too. While on the ship sometimes, it’s so cold. it’d be better to get inside the covered space on the ship. It’s sometimes very cold even in the summer and water splashing, shaking etc… take jackets and hats. Hats could fly away due to the wind. Be aware.

All of the people that work the boats are very knowledgeable. We always see whales! Plus always learn something new everytime we go out. We go once a year at least.

Great experience! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the food cooked smelled amazing. Our trip was a bit rocky due to the weather the few days previous but they kept it as smooth as they could.

Well managed vessel. Room for everyone despite the crowd. Knowledgeable & friendly guides. We were on our way in not having seen much when the skipper turned the boat around & went back out quite a ways to give us an excellent viewing of a humpback, extending our trip by over 30 minutes. It was great fun.
