It was my 1st time riding Segway. Jerry taught us how to balance ourselves n ride in less than 15mins and then we started our tour. The route had breathtaking views of the pacific coast . We also stopped at a Monarch sanctuary to see butterflies, hummingbirds. Highly recommend this fun activity with friends and family

We were looking for something fun to do during our visit. With covid going on and the aquarium closed, we opted for a Segway tour with Jerry. Wow, so much fun and Jerry is a fantastic guide. A great time for all ages. We highly recommend this tour, and we will be back again. Thanks for a great afternoon Jerry!

What a perfect mother's Day event. All three mothers in our group of seven agreed this was the best mother's Day ever. Even those of us who were very insecure did well on our tour. Jerry our guide was very patient and very encouraging making it a very successful day for all. Our ages ranged from 50 to 82 years old, anyone can do it. We highly recommend the Segway tours Monterey. ?

We took our grandkids on the Pacific Grove Tour. They were ages 16, 14, 12, and 10. All of them were very comfortable riding the Segways and caught on very quickly.
Jerry (the owner) spent the first 30-ish minutes training everyone before we left.
The tour was SUPER fun and completely worth the price!
There is a large pack in the front of the Segway to put your purse in and/or other large item like a metal water flask.
We took a break halfway on our journey and we were able to use the bathroom.
Again, EXCELLENT excursion and our grandkids had a blast.

This is an easy 5-star rating for me.

Touring Monterey on a Segway was amazing all-around. Jerry is a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable operator. He gave our family a thorough safety lesson before the tour, and we were comfortable riding around through crowds and intersections in no time. A few days later, he sent pictures and video from our trip. Jerry even mailed us my son's sweater he left there by mistake.

If you haven't done a Segway tour, Monterey is the perfect place to try it out. The feeling of riding one is hard to describe, but within a few minutes, it feels like an extension of your body. You lean and tilt, intuitively moving around without effort. I wish I could afford to buy one, to be honest.

They offer a few other tours, and we're excited to return to Monterey next summer to try those out, too.

I think the one-star review was someone who was a walk-in. You'll want to be sure to call them beforehand, because they could be out on a tour if you randomly stop by their office. Our tour was on 9/1/2019, they're definitely still operating, and Jerry answered the phone each time I called.

Jerry was a blast...very knowledgeable and he has a great sense of humor. If you think its boring to go over all the safety and "pre-flight" stuff, imagine how Jerry feels doing this 1000X's...pay attention and get through it is for your safety and the safety of others. I highly recommned this tour...

Jerry was a great instructor and tour guide. Parking was simple and Jerry provided detailed steps on find his location. He had a mini training course to familiarize you with the basics in maneuvering a Segway - including mounting, moving forward and backward, turning corners and avoiding objects. The actual tour was scenic, filled with historic anecdotes of Pacific Grove and Monterey, stops where Jerry took pictures and videos (all of which he sent afterwards via email), and sprinkles of humor. Jerry even went the extra distance to provide a snack, bottle of water, and gloves (they come handy). My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it and would join this tour again.
