Clear Lake Cottages & Marina - Clearlake, California

I don't often write reviews but the hospitality that the manager showed us was so out of the norm these days I wanted to thank him for a lovely stay. We wandered in after checking out from a bad Airbnb experience. Bob was welcoming and showed us around the quaint, well-kept property. He upgraded us to a waterfront cottage that we found to be very comfortable and clean and offered good recommendations for local restaurants. When we had an issue, his staff was extremely helpful. Bob compensated us without hesitation and left a very nice bottle of wine in our fridge. This cute little resort is clean, comfortable and takes pride in their guest experience. Thank you for a great stay.

What a gem! Cabin 27 has one hell of a view! The room was basic inside but spacious! It had a full, well equipped kitchen. Better than average bed. Did I mention the view?!?

But where I was most impressed, was the service. For a variety of reasons, I didn't get the text for the door code. I called the front desk and was met with a recording. However it was personalized to me! They wanted to make sure that they knew I did not have the text and we're waiting on me to make sure I can get checked in. They went out of their way to do that. Then when I spoke to them later they were so kind and helpful. Exactly what you would want in any situation. Just really can't say enough about the place. If you're thinking about it, just do it!

The cottages are tastefully & recently renovated with all modern amenities. The setting is right on the lake and theres a seasonal pool. They have boats available on their dock. We took a boat over to the Clear lake State Park and had a beautiful hike then ended the day on the water enjoying the music at the Stein & Wein Restaurant.

We stayed in cottage 20, which sleeps 4. Spotlessly clean. wooden floors throughout. Has lovely cotton bed linen on the very comfy beds. Bath and pool towels provided.
Cottage is very well appointed, 2x double beds,, comfy sofa, dining table and chairs and kitchen is fully equipped for 4 guests. Full-size fridge freezer and cooker as well as microwave, dishwasher.. Plenty of space /equipment toprepare/cook if you want to.
Cottage 20 is next to the pool and is right in the shore of the lake.
Absolutely fantastic place to stay in beautiful lake side setting, which I highly recommend if you're looking to stay in Clearlake.

Accommodations were very clean and had everything we needed. Nice area to picnic, BBQ and watch the fireworks. Employees pleasant to do business with and very accommodating. Treated us very nice. Bob had lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Will stay again!

Beware of this property! So much drug activity!!! People were smoking meth on th doc! We found a pipe in the sand. The staff look like they would steal from you so be very watchful here. Also, they charged us for dirty towels. It seems like a scam! We didn’t have a broom in our room so we had to sweep and mop the floor with a towel. Please take before and after pics to have insurance for yourself

My buddy found this place via Google. We enjoyed one night here. The view on the lake is amazing. It cannot be beat for the price. I would definitely come back here and recommend it.

It was a beautiful property but from other airbnb's I've been in had more amenities like sponges for the dishes, washcloths, soap, shampoo, and conditioners.
