The accommodation is furnished with great attention to detail and everything has been thought of. There are only a few suites and therefore only a few guests, so it is very quiet. Absolutely no mass tourism. The terrace offers great opportunities for eating, barbecuing and relaxing and has a fantastic view. It really is a place to unwind. The landlords, Sandy and Quentin, are exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is a manageable driving distance to the entrance of Yosemite National Park, which offers great recreational activities.

Let me start by saying Quentin and Sandy's Yosemite Foothill Retreat deserves every bit of praise and more – I'd give it ten stars if I could! From the moment we arrived, Quentin and Sandy made us feel like family, and here's why their place is a standout:

First off, let me tell you about Sandy – she's an absolute gem. Despite being in the middle of a hectic travel schedule, she took the time to help us out with our snow chain questions, ensuring we were safe on the road. And Quentin? He's a true hero. When he found out we needed snow chains, he didn't just point us in the right direction – he personally went to the local auto store and snagged the last pair for us! Talk about going above and beyond!

As if that wasn't enough, when we arrived at their cozy retreat, Quentin surprised us with homemade wine and a mouthwatering spread of cheese and crackers on their adorable patio overlooking the hills. It was the perfect start to our weekend getaway, filled with warmth and hospitality.

Their attention to detail is unmatched. Our guest room – number 1, by the way – was not only spotlessly clean (and trust me, I'm picky), but it also had the coolest furniture and all the amenities we could ask for. It truly felt like our own little slice of paradise.
But what really sets Quentin and Sandy apart is their genuine care for their guests.

They treat everyone like old friends, and you can tell they're passionate about what they do. And let's not forget their furry friends – their outdoor cats, especially Bella, stole our hearts!

In conclusion, Quentin and Sandy's Yosemite Foothill Retreat is a hidden gem that exceeded all our expectations. I'll be singing its praises to anyone who'll listen and counting down the days until our next visit. Trust me, you won't find hospitality like this anywhere else!

Sandra and Quentin were such friendly and welcoming hosts, the place is great and clean with the amazing patio for evening relaxation. we felt like home! we’d definitely come again when visiting Yosemite NP next time + highly recommend the place to our friends and family. A wonderful place to stay! If you plan on traveling to Yosemite, I highly recommend staying here. Our apartment was super cozy and clean. The kitchen was equipped with a microwave, toaster, fridge and coffeemaker which was more than enough for us. The view from the patio was amazing.

Grate place to stay. The owner is always very welcoming. The family really enjoys staying here. Can't wait to do it again. Nice clean rooms as well.

The location is just beautiful and the view from the big shared terrace already worth the trip there - especially the sunset. We were greeted warmly and led to the beautifully equipped and decorated suites. There is really everything you might need (2 ACs per suite, that you will need in summer), shared grills on the terrace, fridge, coffeemaker, lots of towels, ... The walls are on the thin side but a friendly word with the neighbours to keep voices down is all it takes to get the noise to a comfortable level.
Quentin and Sandra are great hosts, taking great care of guests and if you like animals, there are at least three friendly cats, the owner's dachshund and lots of hummingbirds.
