Wow! We were so impressed with this museum. It has several exhibits spread out so you get a good idea of what it felt like in the late 1800’s early 1900’s. So much to see but not an Overwhelmingly amount.Bob and Hope are super sweet. This place does not have the attention it deserves. I’m so glad we stopped by after so many years of just passing. Also there’s a nice picnic area. 4th grade teachers, I highly encourage you to book a trip there with your students. No fee but donations welcomed.

Very interesting items. The volunteers there are very friendly and happy to share good information about the items. All items are donated and organized by volunteer retired teachers.

Wow! What an unexpected but great afternoon. My husband and I took our 5 year old. The volunteers working allowed us to look around at our leisure but also shared interesting information and set up a panning for gold experience!

The items are more interesting and better organized than in some big city museums. And museum volunteers are a real pleasure to talk to. I am really glad we found this museum! Will try to come back.

Limited hours during spring, but our trip timing worked to allow us to visit. Very neat historical buildings and an extensive collection of items/clothing/equipment from the past 200 years.

The gentleman docent we spoke with was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. This was a pleasure.

I've gone there for years. My favorite event is the tarantula festival. My kids always have fun and there's still things to keep adults entertained. My only complaints are the vendors food prices and quality. Also should have a beer garden or something for the adults.
