Good location off the highway.
Rooms were clean, beds were tidy and had no issues with sleep. It’s an older establishment and it does its purpose. The room was very clean. I don’t know who Brittany is but she did a great job cleaning the rooms. Absolutely no filth or dust anywhere and no bugs found. Great job to the family who runs this place.

Rooms were clean, a bit rundown and the "fixes" are done poorly, but the price is great and it's safe so totally worth it. Check in was breezy and fast, and the location is so nice. Walk trail, beach access, dock access, restaurants in walking distance. Just a really nice spot. Cons: I cannot get through to the front desk using their in-room phone and the bathtub has no plug to make a bath. I figured something out but definitely would have preferred a way to plug the bath be included with the room.

Although the manager was great and very accommodating, the lodgings were much lower level than expected for a Travelodge, and for something by Wyndham. The exterior of the place looks like a cheap motel from the 60s, but rooms were OK once you shut the door as the interiors had been redone. But the air conditioner could not be adjusted to our liking - even the lowest setting was blowing excessive cold air on us so we were chilled but room got hot if we turned it off, the electricity was off when we awoke next morning to phones that weren’t charging - we called the front desk for help but no one answered; finally we walked up to front desk and the manager reset the breaker but by that time we were leaving for the day. The shower curtain was sagging so that it was hard to shower without stepping on it all the time, but if you tried to pull it up bunched up on the ledge it would collect water and leave big puddles in 1/4 of bathroom. ||||Suggestions:||||Finish the upgrade of this clearly old property and fix up the exterior similar to interior. Make it look fresh clean and inviting. It’s on a busy highway so can’t do anything about the road noise but if the exterior was inviting and nice, it would be ok. This is biggest need to bring property up to expectations for a Wyndham name||||Install privacy shades which allow light and seeing outside but not inside. ||||There are only blackout curtains now and leaving them open is unpleasant as anyone can see inside the room and the view of blue n white paint exterior and cars is unappealing. ||||Fix shower curtain rod to avoid floods in bathroom ||||Fix electrical panel so no blackouts for paying customers. This is SO unacceptable for guests.

The staff was very friendly, shout out to the lady with blondish ponytail. She went above and beyond. The only reason I didn't leave 5 stars is that the exterior is a little rough. Great stay, clean rooms, no bugs/roaches, comfortable bed and nice big TV with good channel selection. Location is perfect for lighthouse visit and Redwoods

Room is decent at best, no hot water in am, not sure if that’s to lure you to leave sooner or what? Phones don’t work? The area is horrible there literally no where decent to eat except dennys at least they are consistent all the mom and pop family run lunch and dinner spots are absolute train wrecks the food was terrible we tried 5-6 spots that had supposed good reviews? The speed way grocery store has a lot of sketchy looking people while we ate I would build my plan for escape and how to evade a robbery

The hotel is right off of the main road 101 so you get the traffic noise all night, but not as bad unless you're a very light sleeper. There were quite a few random people walking around all night thru the side door and back lot of hotel. The shower needs to be updated, but did have a working jacuzzu tub in my room which bumped my rating from 2 to 3. And the laundry room puts them at a 3.5. The customer service was awesome from the front desk clerk. O

I booked on orbitz on my phone in a restaurant at the last minute due to our campground being closed and the site only showed deceiving pictures of the rooms. When we drove by later we were a little scared by the appearance of the outside.

The check-in office smelled like a litter box and I was afraid the rooms would smell too but the room wasn’t too bad. The windows open which is important to me to air out rooms.

The wi-fi tested at 2.5 mbps. The TV didn’t work when we tried to watch so we tried to call the desk from the room phone and that didn’t work either. Later my son went to the front desk and she said there is a secret button next to the power button. Indeed that is what you have to push to get the receiver to work. It’s invisible. The beds are comfy enough, but on sheet metal frames so if you kick them or jump onto the bed there is loud clanging. The picture on the wall is dirty and so are the walls. The bathroom light makes a sound like a ring doorbell when you turn it on which is a little disconcerting. I wanted to take a bath but the drain is a switch type (actual plug is internal) and it didn’t work. When my son went to look at it the faucet handle came off in his hand. The microwave, fridge (no freezer part), washer, and dryer all worked. The bathroom sink is a weird design that holds particles after the water has all drained unless you use your hand to push everything into the drain. The second night the air conditioner fan was very loud, but intermittently, as if there is something in there getting jostled around and we couldn’t use it. That was the final straw for me.

Overall, it was a place to stay in lieu of looking for dispersed camping somewhere that’s not on fire until our next reservation. We had a lot of good laughs about the amount of things that weren’t working in this room while we enjoyed hot running water (but watch out, sometimes a shower will only last 5 minutes before it turns cold) and wi-fi and electricity and real beds. However I would never book here again and now have no faith in the Wyndham name.

Look could deceive you. Rooms were good, towels were nice. People were great and friendly. Price is not bad. Parking could be better. Like it overall. Rooms were clean floors were, too. Recommend to move the shower soap dispenser, tho. And more towels are offered in the room. Bed clean and comfortable small tho..
