My husband and I found Waveform Events through our planner and hired DJ Amanda to provide DJ services for our wedding in downtown LA in September. The music was one of the elements of the day we both cared the most about. We are the type to make a very specific playlist for every occasion, so while we had a very specific vision and requests for the different parts of our wedding day, we also wanted to hand it off to a professional who could read the crowd and keep the energy going. And wow did Waveform and DJ Amanda deliver! Our dance floor was lit from start to finish and we got so many compliments on the music. She followed all of our many instructions to a T while reading the vibe and keeping the party going all night long, from guest arrivals to the final dance set of the night. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We cannot say enough fantastic things about Waveform! From the incredible DJ himself Martin, to the lighting crew of Kris, Ryan, and more, to the online service program to plan your music playlist and wedding timeline, to just overall professional communication and enthusiasm, this team is excellent! Our Waveform DJ Ryan was absolutely fantastic. We had an Indian wedding and he rose to the occasion despite not having very much experience with Indian weddings. Not only did he take a lot of time ahead of our wedding to listen through all the songs I sent him and even took note of certain specific requests we had for specific sections of songs to play, but on the day of the wedding, the mixing was excellent. Also, he did very well pronouncing Indian names and took a lot of care to get it right. He was great as an emcee too. We had a couple of last minute delays/changes to the original plan and he adapted very quickly and professionally. We got so many comments from our guests on how excellent the DJ was, and people of all ages were on the floor ALL NIGHT! So much fun.

Ryan did a fantastic job as the MC & DJ of our wedding reception. The music was perfect and he did a great job reading the crowd and keeping the party going. Ryan went the extra mile to make sure our wedding reception went off without a hitch. He worked well with the other vendors we brought in and we couldn’t be happier with how everything came together.

DJ Ryan from Waveform Events was absolutely fantastic! He was a terrific emcee and an awesome DJ, playing music which appealed to the younger and older generations alike. We had submitted more songs than he could have played at the reception but the ones he chose were absolutely perfect. Ryan is personable, smiling, efficient, and most importantly for us, he practiced saying our Indian names and pronounced them perfectly! Highly highly recommended.

Waveform Events did an amazing job at our wedding this spring! From start to finish they were professional, kind, and beyond helpful in planning our event. Kris was our contact there and he was very responsive with suggestions on lighting, draping, and dance floor rental options. We asked for a specific lighting shade to be done in our reception and were so happily surprised with the results on the day of the event! Their team was flexible on the day-of and very reliable. We hired DJ Ryan for our wedding and if I were describe his work in one sentence, I’d say: he understood the assignment. DJ Ryan was our best hype man without being too much, he played the songs we loved and wanted to hear, and was able to adjust and feed off of the energy of our wedding guests to keep people on the dance floor. We had a mix of older guests and younger guests and it was the perfect blend of classic hits and current bops. Everyone had a blast. He also was a great MC and kept things moving. Would definitely recommend Ryan and Waveform events. They were easy to work with, professional and reliable.

We had a non traditional wedding and a lot of strange requests and they went above and beyond to help us make our special day extra special! Martin was amazing during the planning phase and our DJ Allen had every single one of our 120 guests on their feet dancing the whole time! The Bride’s grandfather even got on the dance floor for the first time in DECADES! Fantastic experience. 10/10 would recommend.
