Zarren was a very thoughtful and knowledgeable guide, Jacob was so great with our kids and also knowledgeable. Our astronomer Steve was incredibly patient answering millions of questions from the kids, this team provided unforgettable experience for our family at the Joshua Tree.

Such a nice treat to have a private guide as knowledgable as Jacob! We loved joshua tree and learned a lot while hiking through just before sunset. We ended the day with Star gazing Steve who toured us of the night sky. Thanks for the wonderful 5 star trip.

1/5/23 We had a great experience with Joshua Tree Excursions. We did the sunset hike, dinner and night sky presentation tour. Kelly was our driver, guide and cook. Her knowledge of the desert and the park was exceptional. Her personality was engaging and welcoming and we really enjoyed our time with her. Our night sky presentation was with “Star Man” Steve. Steve was an amazing wealth of knowledge. Initially, the sky was a bit challenging with clouds but Steve was determined to provide an incredible experience. Our patience was rewarded as the clouds cleared and we were treated to an clear view. Overall, I would highly recommend Joshua Tree Excursions.

Could never have done this on our own...having knowledgable guides to show us the their favorite areas and still navigate the way back was without a doubt, a good call. Climbed rock formations that were appropriate for the group with incredible views. Our glorious hike in the park ended with a presentation view of the night stars under a very powerful telescope. Would definitely recommend.

My 14-year old son and I did a sunset hike and stargazing tour with Joshua Tree Excursions. The park is beautiful, and you can fully enjoy it with a professional guide like Kelly. "Stargazer Steve" took us on a tour of the cosmos that we'll never forget, and Jacob is still talking about how good the dinner was! Kelly made the hike challenging and fun, perfect for the two of us to remember this special time together. Highly recommend!

Our family was immersed in the geology, history, flora and fauna as we listened to our guides while we hiked. They chose a hike for us that provided both easy and challenging parts, too, for those who wanted that. Starman Steve completed our day with such a deeply informative constellation viewing while our guides cooked us a delicious dinner. If you want to know, learn, feel and really experience the park spend time with this terrific guide company.

A truly amazing experience! Highly recommend Joshua Tree Excursions. Professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. We had a short time to see JTNP and we were able to experience the park in a way we could not have on our own. We hiked the Wonderland of Rocks with Ben and Kelly. So much fun. Finished up our hike as the sun set and full moon rose. Onto dinner cooked from scratch by Ben while we learned about the wonders of the March night sky with StarMan Steve. Joshua Tree National park is an awesome place to see the night sky. Don't think twice, worth every cent! These memories will last forever. Thanks Ben, Kelly, Steven and Amy! We felt safe and completely taken care of the 6+ hours we spent with Joshua Tree Excursions.

Thank you Zarrin and Starman Steve for a spectacular tour of Joshua Tree and the universe! Zarrin has profound knowledge of the geology, geography, biology, and even rock and roll lore of Joshua Tree which he weaves into a truly engaging visit all while scrambling over rocks and climbing up formations. Steve knows his night sky and showed us views of the moon and Saturn, Vega and the North star, as well as many constellations that we would never have understood on our own. We even got lucky and watched the Space Station streak across the night sky at just the right moment.
Oh, and Zarrin cooked us some great food for dinner.
This is the most five star tour I've ever been on! Thanks guys!
