Went on the two hour trail ride with Andrew! He was amazing, super friendly and made the ride fun 🙂 I had my bf with me who hadn’t ridden before and he had a great time, his horse Espresso was super chill and great for a first time rider. I got to ride Maya and she was fun, had a great time running with her. 11/10 experience, will be back!!! ?

My recent horse adventure in Southern California was nothing short of fantastic! From start to finish, every moment was filled with excitement and awe-inspiring experiences. The team at Socal Horse adventures went above and beyond to ensure a seamless and enjoyable journey.

The landscapes we explored on horseback were breathtaking, with stunning views of the SoCal countryside that left me in awe. The horses were well-trained and matched perfectly to each rider's skill level, making the adventure safe and enjoyable for everyone.

What truly made this experience exceptional was the knowledgeable and friendly guides who accompanied us along the way. Their passion for horses and the local area shone through in every interaction, and they were always eager to share interesting tidbits about the region's history and wildlife.

Whether you're a seasoned equestrian or a first-time rider, I highly recommend embarking on a horse adventure with socal horse adventures.

We went on the 8 hours trail ride with Landon and it was an amazing learning experience, and we loved it.
Trail riding is sooo different from the arena and you’ll learn a lot about horsemanship, like being assertive with your horse but never overpowering, listen to your horse when they try to communicate and never be mad at them because most likely you’re the one doing something wrong, understand your horse is mostly just reacting to your own body language, so if you are stressed, they will respond with stress too. And also remember unpredictable things can happen because they have a mind of their own and you need to be attentive.
I would say 8 hours is a great preparation if you’re thinking about doing a horse safari like we are and want to know what it will feel like riding every day for a week (really puts it in perspective). But if you’re not ready to get bruised behind your thigh (because of the seam between the seat and the skirt of the saddle) then the 2 or 4 hours trails will be a good option.
Highly recommend ! They even have little pigs running around at the barn, and small cows, and kittens. Adorable ?

Did a private 2 hour morning ride with 2 friends. It was awesome and we are all ready to book again! Horse are so well cared for - you can tell they are the priority. Landon did a great job of tailoring the ride to our comfort level and we can't wait to go back! Definitely the only way to ride if you are experienced!!

An absolute must for any real horse lover out there wanting a full endurance experience. Adam is incredible and his relationship with his horses is proof of that. I only wish I was closer and could train every week!

We had a blast filming a young ladies pre quinceanera video and photo shoot here. We got the opportunity to work with their horse Dee Dee and it was an awesome experience. Super friendly staff and hard working too. Glad to have had the experience.

Such a FUN RIDE! We have been on several rides at different places in CA and this is was by far one of my favorite experiences. As intermediate riders we were matched with great horses that are clearly well loved and taken care of. The opportunity to gallop and canter was great and myself and friends felt safe and comfortable the whole time. 10/10 we can’t wait to go back. The staff was super friendly and we loved all the animals too. Landon was AWESOME as a guide and we enjoyed his company during our ride as well. Thanks again to the staff and team!

I am a somewhat “experienced” rider. I am a novice-level eventer who rides multiple times a week. I wanted a place that would be good for my friends who hadn’t ridden and could also let me and my other “experienced” rider friend actually do more than a walk in a line.

We booked a two hour private trail ride with two guides. Andrew took the beginner riders under his belt and was gracious and helpful the entire time. My friend and I rode with Madeline. When it was time to break up so we could get some speed…wow. These horses are amazing. They had plenty of go and stamina but I never felt like I was out of control. And boy did we gallop. It was one of the most amazing rides of my life and I’m not exaggerating. Being an eventer, I’m used to OTTBs that spook at ghosts when on trail, so I don’t have much experience doing more than a walk or a jiggy jog on trail. Galloping is a whole other adrenaline rush of pure joy. Even just some nice long trots and lazy canters were so much better than I was hoping. It was so fun, in fact, that none of us managed to bring our phones out for pictures or videos cause we were so in the moment.

Not only will I be bringing my beginner friends back, but my friend who went with me and I are hoping to plan a trip with our fellow barn girls with Adam and Madeline to go horse camping in the near future. I will be back so many times, they just might get sick of me.

Not to mention, the ranch and the horses are so well taken care of and clearly loved. No beaten down trail ponies there or guides just looking for a paycheck. These are real horse people with really well loved horses.
