I recently did The Real Los Angeles Tours DTLA Murder Mystery Ghost Tour, it was fantastic! The guide was informative, engaging and entertaining, slipping in bits of historical knowledge in addition to the key themes of murder, mystery and ghosts. A great way to spend an evening in LA!

I would highly recommend The Real Los Angeles Tours to anyone who has an interest in LA's history, whether you're a resident or just visiting. I'm definitely going to do more tours with them the next time I'm in LA.

I recently went on The Real Los Angeles Tours DTLA Murder Mystery Ghost Tour, which was excellent. It was a great blend of history, architecture, and murder. The guide was fantastic and the tour was a good length, both in time and distance traveled. I highly recommend taking the subway in, but there's ample parking nearby. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.

My company recently went on the Mount Hollywood hike and the Food + History + Design walk. Both had a great time, and really enjoyed the guides. A boring concrete government building was suddenly interesting 1 stop shop for crime, packed with famous guests. The view from the hike was amazing, and everyone enjoyed getting outside.

We went on the DTLA Murder Mystery Ghost Tour last weekend and had a great experience. The tour goes on rain or shine and we happen to get tickets for a rainy evening; in our opinion, that just added to the ambiance. It’s an easy walking tour , and our guide, Damien, filled the 2+ hours with spooky facts, fun stories and the colorful history of DTLA. If you are coming from the Burbank/Noho side, definitely suggest taking the subway to the meetup location. Highly recommend this company/tour whether you’re an LA native or vacationing in the City of Angels!

The Hollywood Speakeasy Bar Walking Tour was so good! We're from the LA area, but wanted to try out some new places. This tour was perfect. Found a lot of spots we've never checked out. Sam, our guide, was super knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to take us everywhere. If you take the tour, ask for him!

I booked The Real Hollywood Walking Tour and the Central Downtown LA Tour for the same day, which was totally worth it. Damien showed me and my wife around Hollywood in the morning and then he escorted us on the Metro (fare included) to meet Chris for the downtown tour, which includes a lunch stop.

Damien did a great job of demonstrating the difference between Hollywood as visitors expect to see it and Hollywood as locals experience it. I came away with a better understanding of how Hollywood came to develop the way it did and who some of the major players were.

Chris is an absolutely fabulous guide and clearly put a lot of work into his research and presentation. His enthusiasm is infectious and his stories are super engaging. Some great humor too. I particularly loved learning about Biddy Mason, one of LA's first Black female property owners.

These tours are for people who want to get out in the street and taken through interesting, historic buildings, hearing real stories -- good and bad -- that illustrate how this city came into being, how it evolved over time, and what makes it a special place today.
