1. We went with family and friends (total 8) in one boat for better experience (instead of sharing a raft with strangers). If there’s 5-6 of you then u can upgrade (with $$) to smaller boat.
2. Warm lunch & drink is included
3. Bring your own water and hat for more coverage.
4. Use long sleeves rash guard and pants to avoid sunburn
5. Go during summer so you can cool down by dipping in the river during some part of the trip
6. Our guide, Eduardo is kind, very skillful, fun, and helpful. Making the trip memorable and enjoyable for all of us.
7. Don’t forget to prepare cash for the guide. ?

I’ve been on a few trips and this trip didn’t disappoint. Everything expected and no surprises. The great thing is they offered to pick us up at camp to travel to auburn. The guides were from Brazil rafting teams of the past. Our guide was skillled and did a good job. Lunch was diy wraps, water, or lemonade. Soft drinks at the end of the day.

The whole team was super friendly, funny, and professional from beginning to end. They were very courteous and kind, making sure all of our questions and concerns were answered and making sure we were as comfortable as possible. The guides were amazing and ensured our whole team had a great time. We had previously had a bad experience with a different company last year, but Action Whitewater Adventures was a complete fresh of breath air, offering a super positive experience in contrast that we can look back upon with fond memories. We would definitely book with them again in the future!

River rafting with @actionwhitewateradventures You raft as a group. The guides are very knowledgeable and great at teaching the sport to you as beginner. They go along with you help direct you on the raft when to paddle and when to ride the river. Rapids go as high as 3 plus.

River rafting is a good upper body and core workout. You use muscles that you don’t realize. I was sore the next day as a first timer.

River rafting provides a thrill when you ride the rapids and you will get wet, no exceptions!

This was my first real whitewater trip, so I decided on the middle fork, class 3&4 rapids. It was a great experience. The company was very focused on safety and had us drill before put-in. The guide then made us practice safety and other procedures while in the raft. Transportation to the put-in is long and windy but much shorter after pull-out. The provided lunch was good, and energy bars were offered during slow float areas. The guide, Lucas, was very professional and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. The only request I have is if the guides would give the history of some areas - i.e. the Chute Tunnel is not nature made, was blown up and made by miners (lots of gold came out of there) etc.
I'll be coming back next year!!

We had an amazing time on our Trip "Chilli Bar Express"! Our guide Sam was amazing and threw in a few surprises to make the experience memorable. We really appreciated the way the whole crew made us feel safe under such an extremely high flow season. It was my first Whitewater Rafting experience, and I can't wait to go again. Thank you Sam and the rest of the crew!

I want to start off by saying the rafting and staff were absolutely amazing and kind minus one in particular worker!! What a super fun experience. The day started off horribly with Jenny. We arrived on time at 9:30 am (the time the confirmation email stated) and Jenny was nowhere to be found. She showed up about 10 minutes later. We then ended up having to wait over an hour for the other group of rafters, so now 10:30 am and we still have not left for the shuttle ride to the drop off for rafting. We asked Jenny if we could be partially refunded for our time wasted or if we could be brought in separate vehicles to the drop off location as the other family was not there nor ready for the shuttle. No consideration for our time at all, and that is super disappointing as customers from out of state looking to have a fun time with our family. Lastly, our decision was ultimately made when Jenny stated we would lose our money and or would need to pay to reschedule the rafting when we addressed our concerns and anger for being over an hour late to the scheduled rafting time. I have never seen such unprofessionalism from a "supervisor" or "manager" whatever she is. I recommend finding a kinder, professional, empathetic manager.

Second year rafting with this outfit and it was awesome. We did the full day South fork of the American. We did this section last year and it was just as fun. We took 3 boats (21 folks) and all our guides (Natalia, Mau, and Mauricio) were fantastic! AWA picked us up and dropped us off at our campsite, free of charge. Very much appreciated! Thank you, AWA for a great time!
