Juanita and her team as always are outstanding!!! I’ve hired them pre-covid for staffing and they are amazing! As soon as they arrive they just take care of it all and you can just enjoy your event without any stress. This year I hired them for my son’s engagement dinner and also had Juanita do the backdrop. Everything was perfect and even though my event was small Juanita gave me so much time and attention. She was very communicative and helped alleviate a lot of the stress of party planning. She was very thorough and detail oriented and only cared to give us what we wanted and always at the price we wanted.
Will always recommend and hire her for all our future events as all 4 experiences with her have been amazing and stress free.

Juanita is amazing! She understands what you want and delivers the best decorations to match up your expectations! She also works with your budget and maintains professionalism. Jeff was the absolute best server and helped us so much with the detail of the party. Alaynna did a great job bar tending. I am definitely using her services again in the future. Ordered 4 floral sprays from JQ Events for my dad's funeral. All 4 sprays were of poor quality. Photo attached is of a spray that was supposed to be a heart. Very disappointing. For the kind of money that we paid, the quality and service we were provided fell miles below expectations. Will not be hiring or recommending JQ Events again.

Juanita's team did an amazing job for my client they were absolutely happy for everything that turned out. For any things that I do need to rent for any future clients they are going to be my go-to vendor sister and sister event planning is happy to coordinate with Juanita's team again. Everything came out more than I could imagine for my client and I'm glad my client is extremely satisfied. As an event planner they are great mentor as well to helping me grow my business.

We hired JQ Events to decorate the chapel for my father’s funeral. While the owner, Juanita, is a kind person to work with, that was as far as what I liked about JQ Events.

There is major timeliness issues on JQ’s part. The day we were set up to decorate the chapel, the JQ team showed up over 3 hours late and with less than 1 hour until closing time. We asked one of the team members if they would be able to set up everything before the chapel closed, and we were given a resounding, “Yes.” We ended up staying over closing time by 2 hours. Thank goodness the chapel staff was understanding and allowed us to finish.

When we brought up the issue of tardiness to JQ’s owner, Juanita, her response was, “Well, you guys were VERY unexpected, and I had another event to set up for this morning.” She certainly didn’t give the impression that we were going to be a tight fit in her schedule when she took our nearly $12K check.

On top of that, she forgot quite a few items so she had to come back the following morning to finish things up, knowing that my father’s service was scheduled to start that morning.

That following morning, she was nearly 3 hours late again, and disrupted our service, weaving in and out of our procession, due to her tardiness.

On top of everything else, I will honestly say that the finished product JQ Events provided us was absolutely not worth the money we paid. It did not look anywhere near as professional as her usual decor jobs depicted on her Instagram page.

When we voiced concerns, she would respond with an excuse of some sort, such as, “You guys were unexpected,” or, “I had no control over that,” or, “It was their fault.”

By the end of it all, I got the sense that my father’s service was a job that was just too big for JQ Events to handle.

We were eventually refunded a small amount for the items that JQ failed to provide but there was no real apology or compensation for the stress, tardiness, and shifting of blame caused by JQ Events during a very difficult time in our lives.

The day BEFORE the funeral, where Juanita was supposed to come and decorate the chapel for my grandfather’s funeral, she showed up several hours late. And the chapel was supposed to close in an hour. Luckily, the chapel owners were kind enough to stay opened longer in order for Juanita to finish decorations. However, she forgot soooo many things. She had to come back the next morning, BEFORE the funeral started. However, she was late AGAIN and disrupting service. Some of my relatives even had to help her.

Juanita gave the excuse that we were “unexpected,” but had no problem accepting a $12k check. Eventually, she refunded us less than 1% of the check back.

Completely unacceptable work.

As an event coordinator for sister and sister event planning JQ they did an amazing job . they Exceed expectations of what my client was looking for for their sweetheart table and their draping . I look forward to working them in the future they do you want an amazing job. They were there earlier than expected to help with the setup. . I look forward to working with them in the future.
