Wine Country Walking Tours is a fabulous way to explore the Sonoma Wine Country. We went on an evening tour in Healdsburg right after all the tasting rooms closed. We were pleasantly surprised to see that it was siesta time for the peeps visiting the wine country. We loved the stories of how much the town has changed over the years. It really is different then it was 30 years ago. I would recommend this as a fun way to explore the restaurants, learn about this region and decide where to go to dinner. It’s a great happy hour and better exercise then renting a limo bus!

My husband and I had heard about this experience from friends, so when we started planning our trip to wine country we knew we wanted to give it a try. We were so impressed with the experience from beginning to end. Originally the date we had been looking at was booked, so we wrote to see if there was any flexibility to squeeze us in or let us know if there were any cancellations. Kirsten went above and beyond to get us in, and it was everything we had hoped for. Delicious food, a wonderful and friendly guide (Carol!), a group of like-minded folks, and of course, wine. We loved the historical aspects of it, such as learning more about the history of Healdsburg, as well as learning about the local shops and their products. We care a lot about small business, and this tour did a really nice job showcasing local shops (whether sponsored or not) and artisans. The food and wine were excellent, and we appreciated all the tips for the amateur taster! Highly recommend. We loved it so much we hope to do it again next time.

We visited Healdsburg in September 2015.
The 3-hour walking tour was fantastic. Our guide was lovely, unfortunately I don't remember her name. The wine and food pairing was very interesting, especially the ones with the cheese at Williamson Wines. The last one with the chocolate would have been great if I hadn't drink all that wine during the other tastings!
Would definitely recommend it !

I don’t think that there are enough words to describe how incredibly amazing this tour was. Our guide Harold, has such a personal relationship with each owner of every stop we made that it was like we were part of the family from the moment we walked in.

His knowledge not only of each restaurant and the story behind it but, of the wine and food itself made the experience almost surreal. We learned things about wine and food pairings that we thought to be myths in the past. Not only that, he made it so easy for us to take this knowledge home and try it with her own favorite wine and foods at home. Also, his personality is genuine and friendly, easy conversation and funny! We LOVED hanging out with him!

My group and I had so much fun we were deeply saddened when we realized the tour was finally over. So whether you are heading into Healdsburg for a trip or live there and just want a day of amazing wine food and company I highly and when I say highly I truly mean HIGHLY recommend booking a tour with wine and country walking tours.

This is a wonderful way to explore Healdsburg! I went on a "Wine and Gourmet Food Lovers" tour with a friend and we had a great day. Harold is a gracious guide - warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable - and we enjoyed a day of delicious wine and food pairings, olive oil tasting, a visit to a local bakery with delectable pastries, tea tasting, and a stop for gourmet chocolates to top it all off. I discovered some new shops that I now frequent, and learned lots of local history thanks to all the information that Harold shared with us. A great day in wine country!

Best way to enjoy Healdsburg food and wine! Harold teaches you the best way to taste wine and takes you to the best places in town! You get delightful pairings of wine and food at three stops. At the other stops you get to experience more of the great food and drink that Healdsburg has to offer. This was my second time doing this tour and each one was different and enjoyable. If you’re tired of the same old wine tasting scene, do this tour and you’ll be in for a treat! Nothing beats strolling around the quaint Healdsburg square!

Such a fun day! We went on this outing for our annual girls weekend. We had such a blast, tried new food and wine, learned about a new area. Our tour guide was perfect, told us about Healdsburg and the surrounding area, about wine in this region, he was very informative and very funny. We never felt rushed and met some truly interesting and fun people. Such a nice way to stroll around, see the sites, learn something new and indulge! Didn't want to day to end.
