We stayed in Cabin 4 and it was perfect! The beds were a dream - one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. We appreciated the real dishes and cute decor. This was a fantastic alternative to a boring hotel room - it made our entire weekend! The town of McCloud was charming and the lodge had the perfect location. Our favorite nearby restaurant was the Axe & Rose, thanks to the list of recommendations left in our room. Loved loved loved this lodge!!

The room was perfect for what we needed. The added view of Mt. Shasta just topped off our stay. The shower and bathroom was a nice size and the parking couldn't have been any easier. We had the fridge, microwave and small sink for our kitchen needs along with a microwave.

It was a very quiet, peaceful location with beautiful views of Mount Shasta. It felt very much like we were held in the arms of the Mountain. The room was very clean and offered a lovely array of coffee within the kitchenette. The bed was very nice. All of the perks of home with relaxation of vacation.

We had a family reunion here with 35 people and everyone absolutely loved the facility! The spaciousness of the main lodge was fantastic, the commercial kitchen made meals easy, and the fenced outdoor area was perfect for the kids. Angela was so gracious and helpful, she was a joy to work with. There is an incredible view of Shasta from the backyard that was great for family photos! The lakes and waterfalls in the area made for fun outings. We highly recommend Shasta View Lodge!

Real up to date with lamps with usb ports and c style ports in the lamp.side table s of the bed in room #3 nice touch . They stayed in contact with host .so we got to extend our trip for another day and it was so easy . We sure do love mccloud and it small-town feeling and the people who work here were nice and professional with good vibes.

There's much to like about this lodge. Especially if you get Cabin 8, which has a view of the mountain, though obstructed.||But, it's quiet, the place is clean & well furnished, (e.g. washer, dryer, mini fridge, stove, microwave, etc.) You're a few minutes (by foot) to the McCloud Market which, despite its coldness to tourists, has plenty of groceries to bring back to the lodge.||And, if your car gets covered in brown soil from climbing dirt roads in the area, there's a DIY car wash across the street.||"Downtown" McCloud is a few blocks further, which makes this a convenient location, especially if you're heading out to the Falls, about 15 minutes away by car.

We stayed in Cabin 4 and can't say enough good things about it. Everything was perfect and the beds were a dream - one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. This cabin was such a fantastic alternative to a boring hotel room and the town of McCloud was adorable. Very charming and great location!

I recently hosted a family reunion for 32 people at the Shasta View Lodge. We rented the entire lodge and it perfectly accommodated everyone. We are a boisterous, multigenerational family (ages 1 to 90!) and everyone commented on how spacious the rooms were, how expansive and functional the common spaces were. The outside space was perfect for group games, the children outdoor meals and outdoor movie night! The industrial size kitchen made meals for the multitudes a breeze. We all wanted to repeat the experience again!
