A++ Gorgeous, quiet, quaint and charming! What else can you say. Welcoming lovely staff. Delicious breakfasts! Really a make yourself at home atmosphere. My husband and I stayed for our 1st Anniversary.|Love the yogurt/granola, fruit and all fresh baked goods even the jam is homemade. Sweet kittens, peaceful gardens. A magical historical inn right in the heart of Ojai. Will recommend and return again and again.

We notified the innkeeper we would be arriving late she sent us directions for after hour check in an followed up with an email that day. Upon arrival our door was open, lights on and a carafe of water and glasses by the bedside. The room was lovely and bed very comfortable. We enjoyed coffee and continental breakfast each day on the covered patio. The homemade baked goods were divine. The staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. We look forward to staying at the Lavender Inn again if we are in the area.

Amazing room and balcony along with wonderful grounds and location. We were able to walk everywhere in town, enjoyed the outside patios and the water fountains provided a nice soothing sound. Very nice continental breakfast each morning and wine in the afternoon were a great touch.

My husband + dog and I stayed here for a weekend! The staff is amazing and our dog had so much fun running around in the yard. Also, the location is walking distance to fun restaurants and tasting rooms. We can't wait to come back!

NOT THE PEACEFUL STAY
I have been to the Inn on at least 3 prior occasions. I was seeking its usual peace and quiet.1.fire alarm went off intermittently from 10-11+pm and there was no response, ever, to my calls, emails, texts to designated number, nor did the InnKeeper respond in the morning. I went down steep stairs-slept on couch in public area. Owner refused any adjustment to bill 2.construction on property so unable to use balcony because of toxins floating in huge billows in the air and load construction noise. Owner refused any adjustment to bill. 3. 6'x3' enclosure attached to balcony of daughter's room, because of added veranda below, meant no garden view unless she awkwardly angled her. 4. Cat inside on food table. Staff kept saying not inside. And on breakfast Veranda rubbing legs. No attempt to remove. Daughter is highly allergic to cats.

The Lavender Inn is the perfect destination for anyone staying in the Ojai area. It is located right in the center of town, and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants.|Plus, Bart's Books if about 4 blocks away.|The rooms are large and the bedding is so comfortable.|Everything is clean and spotless.|The staff is very friendly and helpful.|To me, the best part of the Lavender stay is the breakfast !!|For dollar value, convenience and comfort, you can't beat the Lavender Inn in Ojai.

This is the way to experience the delight of Ojai! Lovely accommodations in a charming, historic building conveniently located downtown. Everyone on the staff was welcoming and happy.
My wife and I enjoyed every minute of our three-day visit stayed in room 4 (the Lavender Room) and appreciated the easy access to Bart’s Books, Three Birds Cafe, Rainbow Bridge groceries and cafe, Hip Vegan, Ojai Rotie, Ojai Ice Cream, and so many more beloved places.

A truly beautiful place. Lovely comfortable rooms and extremely beautiful expensive grounds. Located two minutes from central Ohio. Great location between the farmers market and Bartz books. My only criticism is that there is not much of a breakfast.
