Our nonprofit hosted our second annual fundraiser at the Backdrop this past Sunday and it was truly a wonderful experience. The staff, most notably Dalton and Sal, were very helpful, accommodating, communicative, and made the entire process seamless. Dalton is incredibly responsive, kind, generous, and understanding. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the venue. It is truly beautiful inside and out. Additionally, many of our guests were wheelchair-users and they were able to fully enjoy the event as the venue is very accessible from the parking lot to the inside of the building and bathrooms. Overall, we had an amazing experience working with them for our fundraiser this year and would love to work with them again in the future.

The Backdrop is THE PERFECT place to host an event in Sonoma County. Everyone was extremely helpful and Sal made sure anything that came up the night of the event ran smoothly! Such an amazing evening and an amazing place.

The Backdrop was a fabulous venue for a holiday work reception. They are flexible, organized, and provide rentals! Their catering vendors are all wonderful. We chose to work with Sonoma County Catering and their all-inclusive services including their food was amazing. I highly recommend The Backdrop and Sonoma County Catering for any event you may have.

We hosted our organization's 50th anniversary event here and it was just beautiful. The staff is so competent and kind, and the space is everything we needed! I can't recommend this place highly enough. Watching the sunset throughout the evening through the enormous wall of windows that point to the west was an unexpected benefit.

My organization held an event at the Backdrop in June 2024 and from the planning stages through the execution of the event, everything went seamlessly. The space was beautiful, the staff was helpful and anticipated our needs, and it was overall a very easy process to plan our event here. The attendees all commented on how great the atmosphere was and how perfect it felt for our event. I would wholeheartedly recommend it for any kind of event, from weddings to corporate events and everything in between.

Such a wonderful event space! It's spacious, modern, and has a lot of great amenities including a commercial kitchen. We were able to send the desired layout ahead of time and The Backdrop was able to set it up perfectly. The Backdrop support team was great to work with and the technology (mics, projectors, etc ) was so smooth and user friendly! Thank you for the wonderful event space, we hope to return again!

We held an 8-hour training day at the Backdrop. I feel like the venue would have been lovely for a dinner or a party, but it wasn't well-suited for a work event. Media plug-in and projection was way in the back, our presenters were presenting from the front, and the venue was unable to supply us with a clicker with appropriate range. They assured us that if we purchased a clicker with 100-foot range, it would work. I purchased it that night (after driving all over the countryside to find one) and, with bodies in the room, the range was not sufficient, so an additional person had to stand at the back the whole time to advance the slides anyway. The mismatch between our event and the capacity of the venue was clear to me after a 30-min walk through the day before. It would have been ideal if the venue staff could have helped us identify and troubleshoot these issues beforehand. Instead, we just had a stressful day in an uncomfortable situation.
