Service is absolutely horrible just horrible. I moved here from LA County. I remember when I applied with LA County did an application online and I kid you not later that afternoon. I received a call. My case was approved. Social worker from LA was very kind patient and work quickly .Got my EBT card in a week. I moved to this county now , And wow, service is absolutely horrible. I applied back in early September. My status is still pending. I have called and called and left messages to my social worker To check the status of my application. Even left a message with the supervisor. It is now November and still no callbacks. I think at this point now I will go into the office just like the comments below to seek aid .Just a heads up to anyone that applies here for benefits.

This is a horrible business that does professional negligence and unconstitutional practices to cause emotional and financial harm to their clients. They need a code enforcement inspection, have their human endangerment practices recalled and give settlements to their clients. They need to close down and a new non-threatening practice needs to be established.

Case workers and supervisors need to change there voicemail because there doing False advertisement they say they will get back to you 24 hours but it's been 3 weeks I haven't received a call back! Did I hear sueing time?

Online services are arduously long. I was calling them yesterday and today and have been waiting to the holding-lobby music for hours. Still have no response. They need either more staff or a better calling protocol.

My case worker never calls me back. I’ve changed my address 2x now and no transfer to Shasta county. My EBT card says I now have $1100 on it and no one is sending my card to Shasta so I can print it so I have to go to Stockton to get it because no one answers the phone and my case worker NEVER responds to me.

5 stars because the staff is very kind, 0 stars because problem is that they don't have enough people to work, every process takes weeks!!! And the only way you can try to solve something is in person, still, you have to go back home and keep waiting
