This place was a perfect stop on our family Highway 1 roadtrip. We had a deluxe ocean view room and it didn’t disappoint. The room was lovely and the bathroom was huge and decorated really well. The staff were so friendly. We appreciated the morning coffee which was available from 6am (great for jet lag) and I sat on the balcony watching the sunrise with mine. The kids loved the popcorn and sno-cones. Great location for the Wharf. I would thoroughly recommend and wish we had stayed more than one night.

"Fireplace" suite is a complete rip off. On one side, cars are parking directly up against your windows. On the "patio" side cars are driving up the inn's driveway - the driveway wraps around your "patio". You have to keep blinds shut the entire time for any privacy, not that you would see anything other than cars if they were open, but at least you'd have some natural light. Also, no hot water kettle or tea/coffee in the room. $483 (including parking) for that experience as a "promotional rate". A complete rip off. Also, our room hadn't been ready when we arrived at 4pm; we had been told we would be called once it is ready (assured by two different people at two different times), but we were never called. Definitely not worth the location. A rip off

First time back in Santa Cruz since being a little kid. Wedding anniversary weekend with wife. Room was clean and cozy and view from balcony awesome! Location perfect walked to all attractions and restaurants. Staff was great remembered our names and free popcorn, snowcones and coffee/latte/hot chocolate was a nice touch. Love this place will be back soon! Don't forget you swimsuit heated pool and firepit!!!

Stayed at Beach Street Inn on a short trip with friends and it was perfect! Staff was friendly and courteous and they were even able to grant our request for neighboring rooms. Rooms were clean and I loved the spacious shower. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and of course the beach, which could hardly be any closer. Room rates were super reasonable for such a nice little place. I'd stay again and highly recommend.

Perfect small bed and breakfast hotel with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The location of the hotel is ideal. Directly above the pier and only a 15-minute walk from the city center. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Everything is very clean and quiet. There is also free coffee in the morning and popcorn in the late afternoon. The service was also excellent.

This is a super cute little hotel in a great location. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The only negative is that they have plantation shutters instead of curtains and the hall lights are so bright the room was never dark and made sleeping a challenge. I had to buy an eye mask to get any sleep.

Extremely clean and charming. Location is on the beach- basic rooms still come with full kitchen and fridge. Really great deal on the pricing. Will be coming back next time in town

Everything and more than we thought it would be. The patio pool area is very pretty with a serene and relaxing vibe. The coffee is great local deliciousness. The views are amazing. The staff makes you feel like the only guest. Cannot wait to go back!
