Great stay at Continental Inn. Had issues with my booking due to booking with another agency and not direct. Manager or Assistant manager was so helpful and he sorted us a room until we were able to rectify with the company. Room was clean and comfortable, with free parking and AC was great during the heatwave. Short walk into the town. Would stay again if I’m ever in the Santa Cruz area.

Daniella and Shiv were amazing and helpful. Coming from San Diego I was nervous I wouldn’t get a hospitality I am used to but they were exceptional! I felt at home and enjoyed my weekend vacation with my boyfriend! They went above and beyond to not only help us within the inn but as well as providing amazing recommendations on restaurants, sightseeing locations, and fun activities. Thank you Daniella and Shiv!

My family and I checked in for a couple of nights for a family trip, on the first night we realized that the bathroom had big amounts of black mold on the walls and behind the toilet. We informed the front desk and showed them pictures we had taken of the mold, they were able to move us to a different room. The second room appeared cleaner and with no mold but the bathroom smelled like sewer. It is close to boardwalk, gas stations, and restaurants but can do better on its cleanliness.

Clean, modern room (we stayed in the annex king.) plenty of room. Had a microwave, Keurig, and mini fridge, that a lot of similar hotels didn’t offer. Check in was easy. Parking was a little tight. Less than ten minute drive to the boardwalk. Only complaint was the blinds are wooden shutters and let a lot of light in as soon as the sun came up.

Location ok, within walking distance to the pier.
Registration and some rooms are on one side of the street and more rooms across the street. Parking was free however not enough parking for guests or others park there and take up the few spots they have. Had to park at the restaurant next to the hotel. Pool did not look clean and was definitely not very inviting.

I slept a good few hours in this hotel, it's nice, the AC gets the room cold WHICH I LOVEEE, they have Disney channel on the TV, the wifi is good, the hot tub is REALLYYY nice it's just a bit too warm for my liking BUT THAT'S JUST ME OKAYY I know for sure everyone else will admire it ❤️ THE SWIMMING POOL IS NICE, best part is THERE IS FREE ICE CUBES HEREEE like YUMMYYYY!! The office desk lady was really nice and helpful. They got a mini fridge in here, microwave, coffee maker ☕ The bathroom toilet is good, the shower is good, the toilet paper here is surprisingly not very thin and harsh, its actually soft and good on my skin. The water here tastes okay! Good with the ice cubes OH AND THEY GIVE CUPS TO USE TOOO!! And towels 😀 the lighting in the room is nice, the blankets and pillows are comfy!! This is actually nice, 5 stars ? (Sorry about the picture being dark in here, it's just bedtime rn for me and my friend lol)

The lights in the bathroom were flickering.
But the main problem was the thin walls. Someone next door woke us up at 1230am with the TV, could almost hear the tv clearly. Also can hear beds squeaking from other rooms. The room we were in was not a shared door room.

The room was smaller than we expected and what I thought I booked, however, the service was great. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and saved us a little money explaining prices changed since I booked 2 months prior.
The location was great! Many destinations within a few minutes walking or driving.
The hotel overall was clean and folks were friendly. Our needs were met. My teenagers loved having a heated pool and hot tub to jump into in the evening hours.
The food truck next door was amazing! Good food everywhere we go!
