Bought tickets to the Built on Beer tour as a Christmas present for my dad — and it was absolutely worth it!! Such a unique experience to walk through Cincinnati history, and our tour guide Kanah was excellent. He made the history of various brewers and brewing families engaging and easy to follow. A great way to learn more about the city and OTR.

What a great day looking around the old brewery buildings.

Our tour guide Lisa French was very informative with the history of the German’s and their traditional brewing methods.

The buildings were amazing the decor and the passion from the owners to save architectural pieces. I loved the RR Engine Cowlings used for table stands.

The whole bar is steeped in history. Hanging from the ceiling is the 1934 USA Teams rowing boat. The bogey’s from the trains as bar ends, The open view into the brewing area.

A real gem plus the taste testing of the products which was an added surprise.

My parents, partner, and I went on the ~spooky~ Darkside of Brewing Tour on September 15, 2023 with Adam (I think… it’s been too long). Our guide did a fantastic job and was so extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and funny! Getting to go inside the Imperial Theater was a really amazing experience, and we learned so much about Cincinnati’s scandalous and gruesome history. We loved this tour from start to finish, and I am really impressed with what the Brewing Heritage Trail is doing to preserve and share Cincinnati’s unique history! One of these tours is a MUST for visitors and residents alike. 🙂

This tour was awesome!
I had 12 high school friends in Cincinnati for a birthday party so I asked the Brewing Heritage Trail folks to set up a private tour.
Mike, our tour guide, was excellent. He was informative but not boring. He gave us a lot of tid-bits about Cincinnati (both brewing and general) that I didn't know and I've lived here for over 30 years. The highlight was getting to go inside one of the stone, underground lagering cellars (well, and then ending up at a local tap room).
I'll definitely go on another tour again soon!

We participated in the Bockfest Brewery Tour during the Bockfest festival and I’ve never had 90 minutes go so fast. It included a delightful stroll through portions of OTR which included stops at various spots where we were entertained and educated about Cincinnati’s and OTR’s rich cultural, brewing and architectural history. We also ran the .05K at Northern Row and had a complete blast! I highly recommend signing up for a tour and please seriously consider becoming a member, it’s an exception value and also supports a great organization!
