Great boat, great team, great time. Captain Dwayne and team are friendly, helpful, and experienced.

we went out at 6:45, cruised to a fishing spot, and within minutes, began reeling in good-size rockfish and big ling cod. by 11am, we were near our daily limit (ten rockfish per person). back to the dock by 12:30.

Mooch is a bit more expensive than other boats, but well worth it for a good boat and crew. they take care of everything so you can catch fish.

we also saw whales, sharks, and lots of seals. no extra charge!

Yes, we'll go again.

The only way you could possibly get a better fishing trip is to go back and do it again with these guys!!!

I've known Duane 35+ years, best fishing guru this side of the Pecos!! There's a reason other captains and party boats try to follow and want to know where he's fishing.
Deckhand Steve was great at keeping everything moving along like a perfect running machine. In just a minute the lines are back out and our fish was in the ice cooling down.

Epic once in a lifetime fishing trip for Albacore tuna, again this was the #1 boat with 35 caught, we covered the dock in fish!!
We filled 2 big 40-gallon ice chests with fish filets, always helpful with knowledge on how to process for canning, freezing etc.

Had a great time fishing for Rockfish with Capt. Dew and Steve, the deckhand. They were friendly, made us feel comfortable, and had a lot of coffee waiting when we arrived.

We left on time, Capt Dew took us to several good spots, and we caught a lot of fish. They took care of cleaning & filleting the fish after we got back.

My friends and I are already talking about doing another trip once salmon season starts.

We fished Mooch Better with a party of 5; salmon was not an option at the time, so rock cod for this trip. Skipper Dewey and deck hand Pablo were terrific. Was impressed with Pablo’s ability to memorize everyone’s name right from the start. Skipper had coffee and danish ready when we boarded — that was NICE.
We headed out south and hit spots. If they didn’t produce it was lines up! and off to another spot. The boat wasn’t as fast as some others, but it handled the seas like a champ.
Full limits on rock fish, and nice ones at that.
I would recommend Mooch Better Sportfishing to anyone, novice or expert.

Fished today with Captain Duane and Pablo. Got some Salmon. Happy to be on the water. Boat was clean, safe, and spacious. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Looking forward to the next trip out. Really excellent guys. Highly recommended. And I will back it up with my wallet. Will be booking another King trip soon to fill the freezer.

Unbelievable experience with these guys. Justin was an amazing deckhand along with all other members of the crew. 25 lb salmon caught right at the half moon bay buoys. Great day and great company. I’m posting this a month late but overall A+ experience
