It was so fun!!! The weather was perfect for the train ride. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoyed the breeze. They provided water bottles so no need to bring any. They also had face painting and coloring activities but egg hunting was the highlight for sure. We’ll definitely come back and book other rides.

Highly recommend booking rail bikes with a group of friends! We scheduled a couples ride and had the best time! Jillian is an amazing engineer and guide and provides the best customer service. Beautiful scenery, bikes have baskets to store your belongings, ride can be as easy or hard as you want it (full electric or electric assist as you choose) and it was overall both a fun and peaceful ride.

Very unique and fun experience!! We enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the track and peddling the railbike! It is so nice that they have little motors to give you a speed boost if your legs get tired of peddling. If you don't peddle fast enough the guides let you know that you have to use the motor to go faster. 😂

Amazing start to finish! Clean, so fun for kids. I was able to relax and watch my littles have the time of their lives.
For parents: bathrooms on the train, coloring books, board games, booths, train moves slow enough for walking around and exploring.
Food options were great!

We found this as we were driving into Sacramento on a billboard and offhandedly thought hmmm that looks fun. Well we ended up with some extra time and decided to try it and boy are we glad we did. The staff was so friendly and the whole experience of peddling the cars and riding on the tracks was so fun. 100% would do again and have already recommended to multiple people to try. Honestly, this would make a great first mini date. While there we were looking at everything else they offer and after this experience plan on coming back with our next trip down to do one of those excursions as well.

My parents purchased 22 tickets for her children and grandchildren to come and experience the Christmas Magical train ride this year, and we had a fantastic time! We were greeted by all the staff on the train as we made our way over to the Snowman cab. We had a total of 8 tables and each person was given hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies. Each child was given crayons and something to color as well as a paper bag and a few items to make a reindeer. We played games like bingo and sang songs. We got to meet Santa and take pictures all in an hour's time. It was a memorable experience, and one we kept thanking my mother and father for. I think we may come back during the summer for another train ride =)

Had a fantastic time on the rail bikes on Jan 2. The weather was gorgeous, staff polite and helpful. We expected to get a workout but didn't realize just how fast the bikes would go! We were a little under dressed and gloves would have been helpful but we still had so much fun. My kids (10 and 6) loved it too.
We've been on the Santa train a few times, but weren't impressed with the view too much. However, the view from the rail bikes was completely different. We saw some wildlife and just had such a good time using the fast motor helping us along. We went up to 37km/hr.

Our motor died about 3/4 of the way through, and the bikes were heavy without the assist, but staff were ready with backup batteries ASAP.

Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

Lots of fun. Definitely recommend. Nice staff warm greeting and perfect weather for ride. Improvement needed: If batteries were all fully charged it would have help two stops we needed. Tip jar or sign would be good. I felt bad not having cash to tip. Other than that, it was great. Nice hidden gem for our area.
