About 30 bucks per person. Self guided tour lets you walk through the ship, but you won't get lost since you just follow the line on the floor. A bit different from some other ships where you just explore anywhere and could get lost or not see everything.
There are also group tours, which you can respectfully pass them if you are on the self guided tour. 2 hours here is reasonable.

What an amazing experience to spend some time on a piece of World War II history! We spontaneously decided to go with family and had to no wait. The museum is very well organized and I was so impressed how much there is to learn and so many nooks and crannies to explore. I’d enjoyed the USS Missouri like I did then don’t miss one of the sister ships the USS Iowa. Well worth the price. Highly recommend!

If you love Battleships or World War II or the Navy in general this place is for you. If you can come with a Navy veteran, it’s even better. The tour takes you through all the important parts of the ship. It is really a great experience.

Spectacular! Me and my Son were blown away seeing her up close in person. It is indeed The Big Stick. Our visit was pleasant and enjoyable. For a small donation I get to own a piece of History from this powerful Behemoth of the seas. 1 of 4 Iowa class seen. Three more to go.

Our cruise stopped at the Port of Los Angeles and docked directly behind the USS Iowa floating museum. It served us from 1943 to 1984. This is a must-see for anyone interested in history and to get a small glimpse of the sheer size and magnitude of the various weapons the warship was equipped with. The vessel is in a continuous state of restoration, making additional areas available for tour. The many volunteers (former and retired military) are available to provide factual insights to life on the ship and war time stories.

Make sure you add this to your itinerary to support this historic reminder of the sacrifices made by the millions of men and women who have protected America for nearly 250 years.

I've been on a number of US historical navy ships and this one is at the top. The restoration is a work in progress, but it's nice to know admission is going back into its preservation.

What's cool about the ship is it's WW2 and Cold War history. A number of presidents have visited it while it was in commission.

What I like is the volunteers made the ship handicap accessible....well actually the navy started the process for FDR, they added to it by including ramps and an elevator.

The volunteers are helpful and knowledgeable. Do one of the add-on tours if you feel up to it.

My son and I spent about 3 1/2 hours there. We also did the presidential tour.

Parking was refreshingly free, and there is plenty of space.

If you like US history, it's well worth the price of admission.

I am a huge enthusiast of World War 2 era battleships, so my visit a month ago was an amazing experience! The USS Iowa is such a fascinating piece of history, as are battleships in general with how they were designed with their large guns and turrets.

To explore everything on the Iowa, it takes about two hours self-guided, but they have a great treasure hunt of finding Vicky the dog and Iowa's mascot; the treasure hunt certainly kept our five-year old entertained while we explored this beautiful ship! Bravo Zulu to the Museum!

Amazing historical battleship being preserved in Long Beach. I took the self guided tour and spent about 3 hours on the tour route exploring many parts of the ship. Would have liked to see a turret open to view and more of the lower decks/engine rooms available. Loved the bridge decks and crew spaces, lots of informative exhibits as well. Would like to see an audio tour like the USS Midway has, but next time I’ll take a guided tour to get more of the experience, lots of former shipmates as guides so will look forward to their experiences. The teak deck is in need of repairs so a fundraising effort is underway, so buy a piece of the old teak to support the effort. I’ve been watching the YouTube channel the Iowa crew produces and it gives lots more background, but nothing compares to walking the passageways and cramped spaces! It’s amazing that even as a museum you can feel vibrations in your feet from the deck from hidden machinery deep in the ship. My hats off to the volunteer crew for keeping this beautiful lady up for the rest of us to enjoy and appreciate the generations of sailors who served on her!
