The halls were dirty and the room smelled like dog urine. It was an overpowering smell! We did not get the type of room we requested. They can say they provide breakfast because they has a few packs of oatmeal out. I would not stay here. The lady at the front desk was nice, but could not do anything about the poor circumstances here.

I was very disappointed in this hotel . It advertised as all suites, I booked 3 rooms for all our relatives to stay together. 12 adults were coming, and there were no suites!! Only single rooms, with 2 queen beds. They also advertised breakfast every morning until 10. Each day, there was no coffee available. The only breakfast were packaged muffins, packaged oatmeal. We asked to be close together, but we were on 3 different floors.
They also don't clean the rooms until you leave.
I would not stay at Extended Stay America again. Not at any location

Customer service was helpful. I was originally booked for 4 nights but the place was dirty: mold in shower and my feet were black after walking on the non-carpeted floors. We left after 2 nights and got refunded the balance with no issues.
'grab and go' Breakfast included processed oatmeal highly processed muffins in individual plastic bags, and packaged granola bars, coffee tea and cocoa. There was non dairy creamer not real milk. Even my 12 year old didn't eat it.

The fact they allow dogs is why we chose this place and in a pinch might return, but will not plan on returning.
I'm ok with a bare bones hotel in a pinch but the dirty part killed it. Even after I requested them to clean it, after showing a picture, it was still there. Do not know if this was a language barrier or an execution error.

Average hotel operation. Staff were polite and check-in was easy. Not much of a breakfast bar. But was close enough and easy enough to access the City without having to stay in the City by the Bay.

Quiet enough rooms but small compared to the price you pay. And the room has seen its days so to speak. Clean though.

Room itself wasnโ€™t bad. It was clean and the bed was comfy. Great job with the pillows too but the couch/futon was broken so it was very uncomfortable to sit in. Reception was hard to get ahold of, there was no one sitting at the desk and it took 4 calls to get in touch with them from our room. By far though the biggest disappointment was the โ€œbreakfastโ€ which was just a cabinet in the corner with granola bars and mini muffins inside it and lukewarm water to make cups of oatmeal. I ate better as a broke college student. Not even fresh fruit. My wife said maybe they need a reminder of what breakfast is.

Stayed for an extended period of time and appreciate the location of this ESA... very conveniently located. Have stayed before and did appreciate getting a chance to come back. BUT the reviews are not lying. There is the snarky staff, rudeness is inevitable, poorly trained staff.... not all of them are treated equal. Non completely functioning rooms w/ phones not working and WIFI problems, and dirty. Dirty laundry rooms that are not always maintained well... Front office staff forgetting to call for vending machine maintenance, when they are not working- for several days. Entitled front office staff who are truly snarky- Alicia. |And maybe one of the biggest problems- Cockroaches in the rooms. An infestation that involved 2 to 3 floors, patrons being moved to different floors, renovations of the rooms.... BUT never the full elimination of the problem. There was never hotel maintenance of the problem on a continuous basis, per the front office staff. |When there was an infestation, then rooms were spot treated that were causing the problem. The problem has been existing for a while. |General management is not allowing staff to fully function on an administrative level. Very selective on what duties front desk staff are allowed to do. Understanding, General Manager not following along with corporate that well.... it reflects in how this ESA is managed.

Me and my husband had a horrible experience here. They say they just renovated the floor yet there was multiple things that were broken and the sink was plugged up and my husband had to fix it himself since they didn't have anyone to do it. The manager is just an awful person and a liar. Some of the staff are just as worse. First we were comped off a week of our stay due to dealing with a crazy lunatic neighbor and having to deal with them for a full week. She then went back on her word and changed it to 3 days then 2 days. They would try and take money out of my account on random days even though we had just paid for the week a couple days before. She then said we were a week behind which we weren't she then called the cops to have us leave the hotel and told them we hadn't paid in weeks. I have never had such a horrible experience at a hotel before in my life. I wouldn't trust anything they say to you. They obviously have no idea what they are doing

This place is great. I have stayed at other hotels in the area, and Extended Stay America is much more comfortable and professional. The rooms are in great condition, always clean(thanks you Maritza). The staff is always very professional, Alisa at the front desk is always nice and super helpful. I will continue to frequent this hotel because of the quality as nd atmosphere.
