I was in the area working and had a surprise day off. Not expecting to get in last minute I called anyway. The owner offered to give me a personal tour, I did not feel like floating around by myself. 2 others also called and we had a small group set out on our journey. The owner is of native American heritage and has some great insight to the local history. He was very patient and never rushed the group. I had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back with the wife next time.i found his rates to be very fair, which makes a hefty tip more affordable.

Wonderful 1.5 hour paddle with Humboats! Learned a lot of local history, saw egret rookery, fantastic views of Woodley Island, Tuluwat and Eureka waterfront. Highly recommend!

The Humboldt Bay Eco tour with Jai was absolutely fantastic! Not only did we learn about the bay during this splendid paddle, he also told us all about the history of the region's Native American tribes, and many of the historically significant recent events.

Family owned and operated. Jai (sp?) is an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the history and the wildlife. The bay is beautiful. Tons of birds, seals, egrets. An unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this!

Had a great time renting from these guys. I can't imagine a more friendly operator than the owner here. He definitely went out of his way to accommodate us. Great gear in great condition with excellent customer service. 5 stars for sure!
