I have have photographed weddings quite a few times over the years here and it is by far one of my favorite wedding venues in the Oak Glen Area. They are always adding and upgrading the experience for my couples! The bridal room is beautiful with awesome natural light I can use for my bridal portraits and the layout of the property is amazing... So happy to shoot here as always and cant wait to come back soon !

The HomeStead in Oak Glen is an AMAZING venue! We were immediately taken in by the beauty of this venue, and knew this was the place for us. The HomeStead is like one stop shopping for weddings - so much was included in their package, that pretty much all we needed was a dress, a tux, an officiant and a photographer. During the planning session, we said we wanted a 1950's inspired wedding and The HomeStead was totally on board - even going as far as having the staff wear 1950's inspired waitress and soda jerk uniforms. They were quick to understand the theme and overall look we were going for, and offer suggestions to make our wedding the best day ever. Our wedding was to be July 22, and when we told them we wanted to do something special for my sisters who were married July 20 and July 21 (several years ago), they were enthusiastic to offer ideas and suggestions. DJ Milo came up with the best idea to play their First Dance songs and my sisters and their husbands joined my husband and I on the dance floor as we all danced to their songs. Thanks DJ Milo! My sisters were happily surprised! On the day of the wedding, we were not at all stressed and were able to enjoy our day, because The HomeStead had everything taken care of. All we had to do was show up! While we were getting ready, The HomeStead team was busy setting up and decorating for our wedding. And it was so beautiful!! All of our guests said this was the best wedding they've been to, and so much fun! Huge thanks to Paula, the Wedding Coordinator, for making our day so amazing; thanks to DJ Milo for making it such a fun party; thanks to Lisa the florist for her amazing, colorful floral arrangements; thanks to Lisa the Bride Whisperer for being our right hand woman of the day and helping with anything we needed during the ceremony and reception; thank you to Lexi for helping us with rehearsal and answering every question we had; and finally, thank you to all staff for participating in our theme and making our day so wonderful.

The HomeStead is a stunning venue with excellent service. Paula was very clear and communicative. We got to the cottages very early in the day and they took care of us. It rained when we were supposed to start the ceremony a d Paula and her team were all over it. They checked forecasts for when we would have a break, adjusted timelines real time and kept us where we needed to be. They covered all the dinner tables with plastic and even changed out the dinnerware when it rained again right after they had uncovered everything. I hardly even saw the team but they were on top of everything. Couldn't have found a more beautiful to get married!

Paula and her team were awesome!! Their attention to detail is beyond compare! We had our Daughter's wedding this last weekend and it was beautiful and flawless! I couldn't recommend them high enough! All of our guests were in awe of this wonderful venue!! Thanks again Paula for making my Daughter's dream wedding a reality!!

The venue was more than we could’ve ever expected. My son was married here on July 8, 2021. They had a cottage for the women and for the men, nicely air conditioning, snacks and beverages throughout the morning. The staff is over the top. Every time we turn around there was someone in Our cabin asking if we needed anything. They kept the wedding on track and on time. The DJ was fabulous, played almost everything the bride and groom wanted until the end then started playing his own music. April was one of the staff members that went above and beyond.

April help us with the bride dress, brought paper and pen to both bride and groom for last minute vows, continue to bring refreshments throughout the day to not only the bride and groom but even all the guest. There was another woman there that was very very helpful with short blond hair and glasses and I wish I remembered her name. Both of these women made our experience over the top. We toured the venue in winter when there was snow all over, it was hard to imagine how it would look in the summer. The morning of our arrival there were flowers and green everywhere, so magical and breathtaking. They used fresh floral arrangements throughout the entire venue handpicked by the bride and groom. The Florist made the most beautiful bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids. The food was fantastic! They brought around hors d’oeuvres, root beer floats, signature drinks throughout the whole wedding. Money well spent. Thank you so much for hosting their special day.

WOW. I sincerely can’t believe how much we lucked out finding the Homestead. This venue is a true stand-out in service, quality, and communication. If you want a stress-free, enjoyable, and memorable wedding experience, these are the people to go with! The whole Homestead team was so welcoming towards us from day one, even before we had officially booked. My fiancee and I had scoured online for wedding venues, but many of them were indistinguishable from each other. After seeing the Homestead’s pictures, I knew that this place would have the unique and vintage flair we were looking for. As soon as we finished our in-person tour with Lexi, we immediately got in the car and booked. There were SO many highlights of our planning experience (and actual wedding!), but I’ll put our favorites below:

The venue is in Oak Glen and gives the experience of being in the mountains without the drive all the way up! We got married in the summer and were so thankful for the altitude making the day a cooler temperature. The venue is STUNNING and has so many fun antiques and vintage decor that are perfect for photos. The “getting ready” spaces for the bride and groom are a great size and make for really fun photo opportunities as well. It was the perfect place for all of us to hang out beforehand. The ceremony space and reception space being next to each other was super convenient for guests. There are so many fun areas to explore, like the bar, fireplace, and back photo booth area (all filled with gorgeous foliage!). It feels like getting lost in a storybook!

They have multiple food options. We went with Tacos and Beer as our food vendor and it was some of the BEST Mexican food I’ve had. Everyone raved about it afterwards! They also offered vegetarian and vegan options for our guests with dietary needs. The Homestead also offers pie AND cake, which our guests loved for the variety! The pie was seriously the best that we’ve had, and we want to go visit the bakery again to take a full one home!

As far as decorations go, the Homestead offers adorable table decor, plateware, napkins, tablecloths, and more to choose from. They also have their own florist, who created beautiful bouquets for our special day. I loved being able to choose from their stock while still having the freedom to bring our own signs and photos (but really, they include nearly everything you need for the big day as part of their package). It made planning stress-free, which was very important to us in the whole process.

Lastly, the staff was INCREDIBLE. Lexi, Paula, April, and Monica have truly created something special here. They got back to us quickly with questions and were very helpful in reminding us of deadlines throughout the process. The team keeps you on track with all of the kindness and care that you would want for such a memorable day. They are total experts and have weddings down to a perfect science.

I truly believe this is THE PLACE to book. My wedding day could not have been more perfect, and I would rave about The Homestead for pages if I could. Thank you to everyone at The Homestead for what you do!

Not only was this a beautiful venue for our friends wedding the staff is absolutely amazing. Can't recommend this place enough as a wedding destination. We couldn't get an uber or ride and Paulla went above and beyond graciously giving us a ride 40 mins out of her way. Absolutely amazing venue!
