Just got off the phone with almost the rudest lady ever (dont know who is hiring these people to do these phone interviews she was the rudest person I have ever talked to not sure who is hiring they better get this changed soon)she was so rude I guess dont ever apply for any assistance they will ask you a million questions and figure out ways not to approve food assistance (saying that I am making things up and threaten me with a investigator etc are you serious its food we all need it and kids need this )I have kids that need food during this pandemic and they need to be shut down or start hiring people that care I do work and because I dont work a full 40 hours per month due to my injury that isnt bad enough for disability so I am denied and my kids are too.This place is a joke hire people who care and stop denying food assistance to people that need this to survive during these crazy times and pandemic covid-19 we should allow everyone atleast food I dont ask for any other assistance but I guess the lady on the phone thought other wise I know a few attorneys and will be contacting them about this and bbb etc.Also on another note looks as others have been having issues with these people as well so I am not the only one we will see if they change or not God bless and hope everyone gets food that needs it. I WILL PRAY FOR THIS. DHS IS SO CORRUPT THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN THEY MAKE UP THIER OWN RULES AND LAWS TO SAY THEY LIED TO NOT APPROVE ANYONE AND HOLD THEN ACCOUNTABLE. Dhs needs to fire the whole staff and have it ran by real people who are for the people in need.I don't even know who is hiring these corrupt employees or who's behind this they need to ge removed.

I came in to ask about my insurance and the African American lady up front was so rude to me, not once but twice. I told her it's a life and death situation and she kept on denying me to speak to someone else and telling me I have to come between 9 and 11am. I am epileptic and my seizures happen between that time and she says she doesn't care and that I am not calling the shots. I had a kidney transplant and I have to take medication for it. I told her I could die if I don't get my meds. She just doean't care. I want to report her to the appropriate department. She doesn't deserve to work there. Does anybody know where I can report this incident? Please help.
