Managing health issues are always a difficult, but I have found the people and facilities at Riverview make every effort to make these moments as easy on you as possible. Valet your car at the front door, register at the front desk, take in the sweeping views of the river, and be seen by doctors, nurses, and the all the other staff members who make you feel like a real-life person they care about helping rather than a cog in the machine of their business. Dr Ciervo and team saved my life in a medical emergency a few years ago and I will never forget how compassionate they were through the entire process. I also highly recommend the Women's Center for annual screenings and follow up procedures as Dr Borofsky and her team - specifically Tiffany, Lisa, Doris and Danielle - were a dream team and provided the kind of top-notch care that all women deserve.

I’ve been to Riverview ER twice now and the care has been nothing short of amazing! Both times, I was privileged enough to be under the care of Dr. Ho. I can’t say enough about how great of a doctor he is. Calm, extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, and super compassionate. Nurse Jackie was equally amazing! She took excellent care of our son, and was very engaging. Her presence lots up a room which in times like this helps alleviate the anxiety of the unknown. I am extremely grateful that my son was provided with the best care. Thank you to the amazing ER staff at Riverview Medical ER!!

We visited a good friend who is a patient. Our impression of the hospital was positive when we pulled up , the view of the river was amazing. Parking was easy and available. The hospital waiting area was neat and clean and decorated nice. The front desk staff and security were polite and helpful. The nurses in oncology on the third floor were extremely patient, helpful, hardworking, friendly,& compassionate . Even the porter came over to offer words of encouragement. The entire staff here does a great job. This hospital truly practices hospitality . I was impressed.

What happened to this hospital. Why can not get an answer why my condition of my colon was not mentioned in my abdominal ct scan. And also was told there was nothing wrong with me just to found out a year later there is something seriously wrong with my liver that was mentioned in the ct scan.These doctors get paid so well for not doing there jobs. Thanks for caring about another human being. Enjoy your money because this hospital made it clear that is all they care about.

We had the sad experience of visiting the emergency room a few days ago. It was an absolute nightmare. We were greeted by an impersonal woman who took our information and told to sit down with no further information. The place was in disarray and dirty. We waited four hours with no contact. We were sent there by Sloan Kettering. At one point my husband had to get the attention of a man taking vitals that a girl was curled up in agony. He came over, looked at her and just walked away. No verbal contact. Later he came to get her and we had to tell the idiot to get a wheel chair. Later a nurse came to see us to register us. She proceeded to do so and told us it would be two more hours. We said no and left. This institution is horrible and lax in communication and kindness. You are the worst hospital we have ever experienced. You should not even operate!

Billing nightmare. We were sent there after a car accident. They were three of us.The service was ok. But their billing service is an absolute mess. For 2 of us, we had to call three times but it seems it was processed. But for the last of the three they will send letters asking us to pay directly for month. I called them every time and every time they would confirm they are in touch with the car insurance and to ignore their letter. Finally they then sent me a notice that they would go with a collector. They have no idea of what they are doing. I checked the EOB of my insurance, turn out it was already paid... I went in November, we are in March and they can't figure it out... Avoid that place if you don't want to deal with them for months.

My daughter was in the ER on Monday night. The ER nursing staff, patient care team, and doctors were amazing. They all were responsive, communicative, and very helpful and reassuring. It was a rough and scary time for my daughter. I couldn't ask for a more dedicated and caring group of healthcare workers. A special shout out to nurse Kelly Cruz for going above and beyond.

I like this hospital 🏥 the parking is limited (outside and free). Another option is valet parking 🅿️ near the entrance of the Blaisdell Pavilion.
